I hooked it up in my two prongs in my living room. I had two light sockets and always seemed to need another one especially when my housecleaners come, they unhook my light to use the plug for the vacuum cleaner then when I turned on the light that evening, I would be running to get a light bulb because they did not plug the lamp back into outlet. Also, at Christmas this year, I will have more safer sockets to plug my small village lighted village into a socket without having to use an adaptor which was not as safe as this one is. I plan to buy two more and also their extension cord with surge protection and many sockets to get rid of the mess of extension cords because I only have one outlet behind the bed.

I bought this to use with a new Genie garage door open that was just installed. The installer emphasized several times that I needed a surge suppressor because they would not warranty a motor problem if there was not one installed. I didn't want to try to screw a strip surge protector to the ceiling of my garage. The opener is plugged into an outlet in the ceiling for the purpose of powering the opener. I decided that I wanted a small device that would screw to the existing outlet so it wouldn't fall out of the outlet from the weight of what would be plugged into it. I also have a sprinkler system power brick that plugged into that same outlet, so with the extra weight of the brick I was afraid that it might pull the surge suppressor out of the outlet if it wasn't positively attached. This product is installed now and working just fine.

My house is older and has many ungrounded 2-prong electrical outlets. And I’ve used an odd assortment of 2 to 3 prong adapters and power strips to allow me to plug multiple grounded electric cables in these outlets. But many of those power cables would simply fall out over time (since 2-prongs doesn’t provide much stability) and they generally looked ugly! This LENCENT outlet adapter solves all of these problems. The adapter mounts securely in an ungrounded outlet with the provided screw, gives me plenty of grounded power outputs, and actually looks nice! Plus it features a surge protector, which is an added bonus. I’ve installed these in every ungrounded outlet in my home where I’m plugging/unplugging modern grounded electrical appliances regularly. I wish I had installed these years ago!

Bought one model PA041USJP , easy to install. Bolt the correct length. VAC is 124.4. Tested with two different circuit testers and it said open ground not neutral/ hot reversed. I use for light's and fan's. For sensitive electronic devices i suggest a grounded outlet.

I bought this for my bedroom because I got tired of a strip laying on the floor and this accommodates everything for which I was using the floor strip and it’s more compact and out-of-the-way.While rearranging my living room, I found another place that I could use this extension plug. I unscrewed the screw that holds the plate on the current plugs and just literally plugged this in and screwed the screw that it comes with into the hole to mount it securely to the outlet and grounding it.I had searched for years trying to find this kind of wall mounted extension because I live in an older building and most of the outlets don’t have the third prong. This is fabulous! I will definitely buy this product again if I need another extension outlet.

So far, these have been amazing! They work great and are extremely easy to install. They look great, too!Most of the outlets in my house were updated before I bought the place, but there were 3 left that are the old 2-prong style. I ran across these and decided to give them a try. I’m so glad I did! No more adapters and extension cords!

We just moved into a 1950ties house and the wall outlets are only 2 prong. After being 'shocked' by an electrician's quote to replace all the 2 prong and update to 3 prong, we decided to selectively use these.2 outlets are never enough for all the chargers, lamps, appliances we need, so this is a nice alternative.The fact that it uses the center screw to the outlet helps the bulky power bricks from pulling it out of the wall. The design shape allows 6 plugs at once without obstacle. The surge protection is piece of mind in the event of any problem.

I purchased it because I wanted one that fit the size of a standard outlet cover. It does and works great....
