Exactly What I wanted and a day early
Makes programing my radio very easy. I believe you could order it on line and delivered on line. It's software and a code to download and activate. The cable appears to be a normal cable shipped with most printers.

False Advertising!
You DO NOT get the CD pictured in the listing. You get a piece of paper telling you how to download the software off the internet. I guess if you have an internet connection this works, but I don't and I wanted (and expected) a physical CD for the money paid. I am returning for a refund and apology from the seller for deceptive advertising.

It works but is pricey and you have to go through a totally annoying online registration and authentication process where you have to enter endless numbers and information I did not want to provide. How about if I upgrade to a new computer? Will that be disallowed? Hopefully Chirp will take care of this at some point. The USB cable is of low quality. Truthfully shame on Yaesu that for a $1,900 list price radio they don't include programming software! Very annoying.

Standard USB Type A to B and Chirp software that can be downloaded for free. This should cost less than $10
