It’s a pump designed to dispense a thick liquid, like chocolate syrup. It does exactly that, consistently. Did have to cut the straw length down to fit the plastic jug, which was easy with a sharp blade or tubing cutter. Will fit taller jugs than just Hershey’s 7.5lb. The lid is the correct size, and hasn’t leaked at all, cleanly dispensing about an ounce of syrup each pump mess free. Saving money compared to smaller bottles, easier and less mess in the fridge and on hands, even the 9yr old can get her own chocolate syrup for milk or ice cream without cleanup. So far it’s holding up like new after emptying several 7.5lb jugs of cold syrup and expecting it to last a while, but will definitely be purchasing another the same day this one eventually wears out…

This was purchased for the gallon sized Hershey's syrup.It works perfectly, doesn't drip, and each pump is a level tablespoon.The caveat is that, if you need it for what I bought it for, the intake tube is too long. So, if you are specifically looking for a pump for Hershey's syrup, be sure to have a sharp knife. You'll need to remove about two inches.

The pump works but it feels like it could break over time. It comes loose quite often.

You have to trim the tube that goes down into the syrup if you want it to work with the compatible bottle of Hersey's, but that's easy to do, and the thing works, and it's great. Super helpful.
