Coco Coir Brick, OMRI Listed for Organic Use (5)

I was surprised at how easily this stuff broke up and “fluffed” up. One brick quickly became a hardware store bucket full! Unfortunately, however, I had bought this to use as potting material for some of my succulents. It is much too absorbent to be used for this purpose, though. My plants started becoming sad, so I had to repot them all again a week later. I will find some other use for this stuff eventually.

First time using this medium for seedlings. Had to mix it with Ocean Forest for some nutrients.

I used the Coco Coir added to my potting soil. Use only a small amount otherwise, it will cause thepotting soil to dry out quickly.

I grow a bunch of plants in my kitchen from food scraps. This dirt is perfect for anything I've tried. I have onions, scallions, garlic, potatoes, squash, mint, peppermint, spearmint, parsley, peppers, cilantro, carrots, basil, and many others! I've had no problems with it. It holds moisture perfectly so I don't have to worry about over watering or under watering the plants. I've gotten this coconut husk dirt before and will be buying more in the future!

When mixed with proper ratio with other growing amendments are a must for any good growing mix.

It absorbs water quickly to expand as 5 times bigger than its size. half of it can produce a whole bucket of coco coir soil. clean and breathable for plants. I have mixed this with peat moss for my succulents. they grows fast and no black rotten

Haven’t even opened it yet, but sadly disappointed by the customs fees that cost more than the product!!! … will not be buying again.

Wow! This stuff really is the best!The quality is simply amazing and a pleasure to work with. I had ordered another brand at the same time and the difference is miles apart! The other stuff had large bits of fiber and coconut shell visible, while this stuff was more like fine coffee grounds. It just looks like gorgeous rich soil. Of course it's all about the moisture retention, and the fineness of this product allows it to stay moist longer. It really expands beautifully and 10 bricks was over kill for my needs. You could probably do a whole garden with that much when mixing with soil and other substrates.

The product was exactly as it should be. It showed up neat and tidy. And was veey easy to handle. As a mediem itself, it worked well. Holds more moisture then most uet also allows more air in for strong growth. Very happy with it. :)
