Gaui 500X Quadflyer Upgrade Kit (No Motors, Escs, Gu-344, or Storage Bag)

I am relatively new to flying RC, and a gentleman (I thought he was at least) down at our field told me he had an amazing quad, Gaui 500x, that was very popular in Europe, that was in perfect condition and he was selling it for a friend for $150.00. I took the bait, hook line and ultimately a broken unusable Gaui500x. It had a Spectrum receiver so he said...just bind and fly. A could days later my son and I headed to the field bound to the quad and slowly begin to take off. Just as the quad inst off the ground it began vibrating wobbling and then flying uncontrollably about until it smashed into the ground breaking one of the landing gear, a prop, and several other plastic pieces. Bummer... long story short we took it to a hobby shop had them do some analysis on it comes to find out it had the wrong propellers and the original Gaui flight controller was bad and needed replaced, but other than that, all the other electrical components were fine. So I purchased this quad flyer upgrade kit which is almost exactly like the original one that I was flying with the exception that the rods for the arms on this particular one I ordered seem to be made of a heavy duty plastic rather than aluminum like the original was. Other than that everything is perfect comes with nice instructions all of the mounting hardware and everything you need to put the bass quad together and then figure out how you want to install your own electronics.

Great find, brand new-old stock with dust on the box!! I found my Grandfather's old Gaui 500x quad electronics in the Attic last week, now I have the frame for this antique masterpiece !!

only better because it was not sent with the full value note, paid a tax absurd here in Brazil to receive the goods.
