It works for rimmed tanks
If you take one of the suction cups and put the part of it in the water it works, and then have the 2nd suction cup on the diffuser part it’ll stay together

Diffuses only through one point in the ceramic disc
When rate is increased, bubbles just get bigger and still diffusing from that same point/section.Also, backflow valve leaks.
