De Ruiter DutchSpeculaas Cookies

I received these cookies in a monthly subscription box and it was love at first bite! They are this and crispy, I little crumbly, but the taste makes up for that! They have just the right amount of spice and sweetness. They are also great for soothing an upset stomache.

These are just ok. Several were broken upon opening. They do not compare to the German Spekulatius cookies I got from European Deli. I will just pay the shipping to get those rather than eat these.

I ordered these cookies for our PreK Christmas Around the World and most of our kids loved them. One little boy ate 4 and wanted more. The only problem was they were broken up in the shipping process. I would still order again.

Recipient liked this product better than last year's windmill cookies, many compliments from a discriminating neighbor. Great sellers - rapid delivery, cookies in one piece and fresh. Will purchase more.

The cookies are delicious but the supplier decided on a soft bag without padding for shipping. About 1/2 of the cookies in each of the 2 packages I purchased were crushed in transit.

Over priced.

Definitely a tea cookie, but was expecting more of a shortbread. I have had similar windmill cookies expecting a more dessert cookie flavor, sweeter, not as dry. However, if you like tea cookies and warm spices this is a cookie for you. Tastes great with coffee as well, but this is not a cookie I would choose for dessert.

The flavor was excellent and these really work with hot tea....and I am not a tea drinker, but thats really the only way to eat these.
