I received the bag new and with prompt shipping from the vendor although I haven't used it yet so can't vouch for durability which is my main concern. While not the heaviest canvas fabric it looks like a well-made, sturdy, decent bag with many side pouches/pockets all around the interior for organizing cans, bottles and other small items. I selected the medium-size bag (not the largest) and it is a good size for my purposes to eventually use as a shoulder grocery bag (straps are comfortably long enough to sling over the shoulder whether I have a heavier coat or jacket on). It is a soft bag i.e. no internal supports that will keep bag standing up on its own and no bottom board some bags have to give a firm bottom. Would have preferred the straps to be attached along the entire side of the bag (rather than just attached to the top) for greater strength/durability but will have to see how well it holds up.1/27/2019 update:Well seems like the bag has held up very well (bought in 2017 and now it's 2019). No tears or holes and I have put in around 10-20 lbs amount of groceries from the supermarket and walked 8-10 blocks with it over my shoulder.

I love this shopping bag, very sturdy. And I loved the bottle liner...until I washed and air-dried it. I was expecting the cotton bag to shrink a bit, but didn't consider the liner...it shrank more than the bag itself! My fix was simple, just remove the liner. It's kind of a bother anyway, especially when trying to slip something in the bag after things are bagged up. Otherwise a good buy and something I'll use for quite some time.

Very nice bag. Heavy canvas, so it's sturdy. Keep in mind that it is soft sided, so it's not going to stand on it's own that well. Doesn't make a difference to me tho. However, I did add my own insert in the bottom to make that sturdier when grocery shopping. That's just a preference. I do it to all my bags. I did buy the natural colored one and I know it will show dirty before long, but I don't anticipate a problem with laundering. I think this bag is going to last a long time with proper care. I'm glad I got it and I believe I will get a few more and do away with all those plasticky store bags I've been using. An all around, well made, canvas tote!

I really love this bag and will probably order another one. I was looking for a high-quality alternative to the plastic, branded reusable grocery bags you get at the store. This one is a great size -- perfectly deep and wide for fitting as many groceries as possible. It has strong stitching, and nice thick straps (long enough to wear on your shoulder), which I expect to hold up well over time. The brand tag is small, and almost unnoticeable. I was a little concerned about the interior 'sleeves' making the bag feel bulky, or taking up space inside the bag, but they're made of a very thin cotton and add almost no weight to the bag -- and even though they're easy enough to ignore, they're actually super useful. Go figure.

These bags are great for groceries and as tote bags. They can hold a great deal and the pockets help to keep those bottles or jars from clacking around. Every time I use these at the store, a few people will ask me where I got them with a clear case of bag envy. . Unlike the cheaper ones made from recycled plastic, they can be washed. I bought a set of three two years ago and they are still going strong.

I have only used these bags a couple of times and have not put them through the washing machine yet, but I can see them holding up very nicely. The box bottom is a good design and you can easily insert a piece of cardboard or plastic for extra support and stability. The interior pockets are handy but I really just appreciate the material and stitching being of decent quality.

These bags are great! Arrived very fast and were packaged with care. I use one for veggies, as the pockets work great for all the different vegetables that can be pulled out and weighed easily...so no need for all that extra plastic for each veggie. Clean...sturdy...lightweight...perfect!

These are great bags. They are top quality canvas, heavy and durable. The inserts inside are a great bonus for keeping things from falling all over the place. I bought these several months ago and I use them so much that I came back for another set. These are well worth the price and will last for years and years to come.
