Alternatively, consider heating the rock with a BBQ or pizza oven, ensuring it is adequately heated by performing a simple check. Drop a teaspoon of water on the stone's centre. If heated correctly, it will immediately sizzle and begin to evaporate. Further heating is required if it sizzles for just a few seconds.
