TOE080 DROPLITE 100 Solar Curtain String Lights, Cool White, 14.5'

I have 10 sets of these. They all failed in less than a year. After some research on what could be the issue, I replaced the one AA rechargeable battery with a new one and they are all working again. I shouldn't have to replace the battery after just one year - they should have put a better battery in there when they made them, especially for the price these are - but I still gave them three stars because the fix was relatively easy, and I was able to buy rechargeable batteries for way less than it would have cost me to replace all 10 strings.

I've had five of these. Three have failed after three years of continuous outdoor exposure. The latest one that I bought to replace one of the failed units works, but the weatherproof boot over the switch is so stiff that I had to use a screwdriver blade to actuate the switch. On some of the other units I have the boot is a softer silicone material and I can actuate the switch with just my finger. On some of the units I've had for three years some of the individual LED's (approximately 20%) have failed. When they work they look very good.

It hangs like the picure says but the rope is short about 5 feet. You would need about 10 boxes to make you house on the box. Plus the rope the lights fall are curly. They do not fall stright down.

Just bought four of these and put them on my back fence. They look great. They are the blue light colorNot the soft white. At least mine were. Good quality and good service.

The lights work well once I figured out how to turn them on. I had to cut off the rubber cover on the switch in order to access it and turn on the lights. Also, the string was shorter than expected.
