Like a Moleskin for your Kindle!
I just got my green (olive) cover today. I am very pleased. This came exactly as advertised. The color is true to the photo. It holds my kindle securely in place. To be specific, here is what I was looking for in a Kindle cover that this specific product provides:1. Correct size and fit for a Kindle Fire2. Grips/Holds Kindle tightly in place (Kindle does not fall out when cover is open or when jostled around in my bag)3. Cover that will fasten closed in some manner (in this case a elastic strap to hold the cover shut)4. Nice/Professional/Clean looking cover5. Ability to turn into a stand (useful for recipes, craft patterns, and video viewing)6. Color that is easy to find in my bag, which is not pink or purple.7. Protects screen from scratches and kindle from minor accidents (coffee spill, knocked off of counter or table, and so on...)Features I didn't know I wanted (that this product provides):1. Strap for you hand, to hold the kindle securely while in use2. Microfiber lined cover, removes fingerprints when not in useCons:1. adds a little bit more to the size of your kindle (although most covers will)This product specifically meets my needs and then some. I am very happy with this purchase. I think this product is appropriately priced. I would prefer to spend only 30 dollars on a cover, but the ten dollar price difference is not too much to ask, considering how pleased I am with the product.

Alright
First I want to say I bought this used for 23 dollars. It looked brand new with all the original instructions, so if is the only issue for you then well... buy used.Okay, over all the case does what it is supposed to. Works well. I have some gripes though.1. Where the strap is on the cover of the case seems to leave a permanent smudge there on my kindle. All the smudgeness and dirt seems to gather where the strap is.2. The strap is uncomfortable. I wanted to use the strap, I really did. Maybe my hands are just too small (I have small hands compared to everyone I know). I find that the strap pushing my fingers or palm inward to the kindle fire and then slant back out be very uncomfortable. The strap is great for short trips when I just need more stability. But I don't use it for longer reading.3. It's light but it still adds weight to the kindle fire. I find the kindle fire alone to be too heavy to hold with one hand for long periods of time, this was the same.

Surprisingly worth it!
I read all the reviews before I took the plunge and plunked down $40 for this cover, but after having used it for nearly a month I have concluded that it is worth every penny, and I am going to buy one in a different color for my grandson. The main thing I was concerned about was how easily it folds into a stand. Answer: easy! And, it stays in that position, so it is perfect for setting on a sofa arm or table top or bed so that I can use it hands free (except for turning the pages.) The Kindle Fire fits the case perfectly, and the elastic strap to hold it together is good. There is also a wide strap you can insert your hand in if you're holding it, and the strap also serves as a good place to tuck papers or notes if needed. The Kindle's page lock feature is great for use with the stand, too. Once you decide which orientation you are going to use the Kindle, you can lock it so that it doesn't flip back and forth. The cover accomodates the charger as well as the auxillary hole for earbuds and/or the stylus cord. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase!

Sooo worth it.
I looked at several cases for my Kindle Fire before choosing this one by Marware. I came really close to ordering a less expensive one but I'm so glad I didn't. Reviews of some of the cheaper cases sounded alright, but most seemed to feel the cases offered no protection in case of a drop. Well, this Marware case is very substantial in that regard. All the corners of the Fire are protected very well by the rigid case. Also, it is easy to put on and remove if you wanted to, without worrying about those corner elastic bands that most cases seem to have wearing out. This case doesn't have those, but a rigid plastic core wrapped in very nice leather. Every mode works well. It's stylish, looks good, feels good and does the job. Highly recommended. (I got the green one and it's great looking.)

The only thing it's missing is a "stand" for portrait position
Otherwise this case is perfect for me. I've loved it since I got it but I chose to give it a few weeks before I reviewed it. It's had a bit of time to "wear in" and I've gotten a chance to get used to the feel of it and see if there are any bits of it that I tend to get caught up on or tangled in...I asked myself a few questions before I decided to write the review and each of them came up with a resounding no! And in this case that's a good thing. The first question was, "Does my Kindle slide around in such a way that I am unable to get to any buttons or ports when it is in this case?" NO!Second Question, "Does the elastic to hold the cover closed 'get in the way'?" No, but there may be a better way to make this happen in future models, maybe a magnetic closure, though an extra flap could be unweildy... I get the feeling this elastic may start to wear out before the rest of the case does, it just hasn't been a problem yet. (this causes the case to lose .5 a star)Third Question, "Is it difficult to open the case out to the landscape position for handsfree viewing?" NO! and it stays put in two positions while in landscape... one for typing & one for just viewing...The only reason that the case loses the other .5 star is because there's no way to set the case up for hands free portrait viewing, only landscape. I don't need to be able to type in this position but it would be nice for recipes or "how to" type things when I'm doing something and need both hands AND need a lot of type to be visible in one position for a long time instead of a picture as desired in landscape.

Good quality, should last well
I really like this cover, which replaced a much bulkier cover that had worn out. This seems like it's made from good quality materials, the Kindle is securely clipped in and the cover can be tucked away under a strap when I'm reading.

Kindle cover
This is an ideal cover for my kindle fire but I think I have given a rating previously so cannot say much more about it except that it would be a good buy.
