Just as the title states, it works and is just as durable as the chargers that come with your computer. It Fits just as well and charges just as fast. Would buy again but hoping I don’t have too.

My laptop had stopped working at a normal speed and needed a new power adapter. I was able to find a replacement item and have it shipped same day for a very low cost. I was back in business quickly.

Accdientally knocked over my laptop yesterday and it landed at the exact wrong angle. Original power cord was wrecked. Luckily I was able to obtain this overnight. Arrived well boxed and with bubble wrap to keep it from rattling. The power tip connects a little loosely in the power socket. Im not sure whether thats a Dell problem or an adapter problem. I wish it fit more snugly. The tip lights up blue, similar to the original design.

I bought this charger as a backup to travel with. I purchased one previously and it works perfectly with my Dell laptop.

It looks good and work well.in the original charger it came with a band allowing to tie the cable.in this one it seems there is a hole for the strap but the strap is missing the can't attache the old one.

Perfect replacement

I was originally going to give this 5 stars as it was working flawlessly and was less than half the cost of a brand-new replacement adapter directly from Dell. However, about a week into using it, the charger started getting unusually hot, giving off a hot (almost burning) plastic smell and the laptop no longer recognized it. We unplugged it and allowed the adapter to cool down and it started working again. However, we have safety/reliability concerns. Thankfully, it is still within the return/replacement period and we ordered a new one (same brand and model) free of charge. If that replacement proves to be more reliable, I will increase the rating (but not to a full 5 stars).UPDATE (10/31/23): It appears that the 2nd charger that Amazon sent me has begun failing as well, and of course, I'm outside of the return/exchange policy.
