I ordered this specifically to get 3/8 inch diameter to replace wooden dowels of the same size for a decorative project. In theory, it should have fit since the wooden dowels all fit without an issue. But it appears that the acrylic dowels are just a bit too large. And I measured it against the wooden one to check and indeed it seems like this is the case. This is very annoying since it seems that I'm going to have to order a size down from what it was supposed to be and fill the gaps

I used these acrylic rods to hold some reef rocks together in a new tank build. 3/8 rods were pretty strong, but half inch would’ve been better for large rocks

These acrylic rods are being sold as 3/8 diameter, THEY ARE NOT 3/8". This material is 10mm! If you are using this for a project that does not require accuracy it is fine. You cannot put these rods into a 3/8" collet or other type of holder, bearing, etc.
