Item came in late and damaged. Luckily, I needed to make it narrower, so damage did not affect the end result. The fabric is a little bit thin. While it does not let any light through, the edges curve, making the gap between blind and window recess wider at mid-length. I would expect better quality considering the cost. Blinds available at Dunelm are of better quality for a much lower price.

Firstly, I'm very happy with the colour (winter option) and fabric of the blind - hence three stars instead of the two I was tempted to give it at first.However, despite the description clearly saying that the width measurement "include the brackets and mechanism", mine definitely does not. The actual fabric alone is exactly 90cm wide, so when the fittings are added, the entire width is 93.5cm. Luckily, my space is 94cm so, with a bit of fiddling (and a lot of swearing) I managed to get it hung.What I'm NOT so happy about, is how the blind was prepared for transit. There was no protective wrapping over or around the blind itself, it had just been shoved into a cardboard tube (which was obviously dirty inside) and sent off. This resulted in a very wrinkled foot or more of blind on the bottom half, together with a noticeably dirty line right across the blind, between 5cm and 10cm up from the bottom. Also the outer tube (and metal pole to which the blind is attached) were dented and bent in transit; if the blind itself had been protected with, say bubble wrap, the pole probably would have survived the impact. I managed to get the pole straightened and, although still dented, once the blind was hung this wasn't too noticeable.Seller, please take note - if the description re. measurement had been correct and just a little more care taken with the packaging, this would easily have been a 5 star review, instead of a three, because - underneath the dented pole (bent back into reasonable shape with a rubber mallet), the wrinkles (steam ironed out) and the "grubby" (scrubbed at with a damp cloth) it really is a very pretty blind and the colours go perfectly in my room.UPDATE: I've taken my review down from 3 stars to 1, as the blind just will not roll up or down evenly. It needs to be held at both bottom corners while being rolled up, so that it doesn't roll up crooked. I can only assume this is down to the fact that the main pole was dented so badly in transit. It's going in the bin and being replaced - what a waste of money.

The roller blind isn't very sturdy - a bit flimsy for something that is made in UK (probably made in China). The floral pattern looks good, but the pattern is printed only on one side. The other side is blank white. Would have been nice if it was on both sides (would have looked good from inside and outside). Had expected a lot better for the premium price (compared to other offerings here on Amazon), but oh well!!!

The blind is lovely. The fabric is great quality . The design is really nice; kind of retro. It was very reasonably priced. However installing it elicited much swearing and groaning from the husband . He said the fittings were not as well designed as the old one we had plus the screws were too short. It was tricky to tighten up the screws after the blind was slotted into place? I’m just repeating what he grumbled about! I have no experience myself fitting blinds but he has done quite a few. Also the blind measurement included the fittings which reduced the width of the blind fabric so luckily it only just fitted my window. All in all though I would buy it again because it is so lovely and cheers me up every time I go into my bathroom.
