Option for cooler garage with attic
This was not bought from Amazon..is was a fairly easy install for the do- it- your- selfer. This will work great to remove hot air from garages with attics in Arizona..Our unit was purchased for $450 from Home Depot online.. It will be controlled by a Wemo Light switch that appears to function great with many combinations for run time .I still have to install intake air vents in garage wall..I will update this summer when temps get hot.Update:It is in the prime of summer in AZ. My garage gets up to 112°-114° by days end. I have been running the fan from 3-6 am & temp will be down 15° or more, just depends on the ambient outside air temp..I also run the fan for 1 hour after we pull in a hot vehicle & that also seems to help to cool the garage down by morning..So far I think it is a nice option to help keep temps down in AZ garages. I will add to make sure you have enough intake air volume so the fan works more efficient..
