Dell Precision 5550 Laptop 15.6 - Intel Core i7 10th Gen - i7-10750H - Six Core 5Ghz - 512GB SSD - 32GB RAM - Nvidia Quadro T1000 - 3840x2400 4k Touchscreen - Windows 10 Pro (Renewed)

When I first received this product, I was really impressed—it worked great for about two months. Unfortunately, after that it stopped charging. I tried everything I could, even following repair videos, but nothing worked. In the end, I found out that a new battery was needed. Since I purchased it used, it doesn’t come with a warranty, which is disappointing. Overall, I have mixed feelings about this purchase: it started off amazing, but the lack of durability makes it hard to recommend.

The sound is not at all work the quality is also very poor I just weste my money on the product

To premise this review I first have to say based on Amazons renewed condition standards this should have been sold as Good and not Excellent (pictured attached). Also came with Windows 11 installed, a definite plus.Condition/Build Quality:1) For a refurbished product this is what Dell considered on there site as scratch and dent product, meaning Good condition.2) This laptop screen keyboard , palmrest, trackpad and speakers are in a Premium condition. Looks and functions like new.3) Top of case like new. Bottom case like new except rubber feat worn out/damaged (see pics).. Surrounding aluminum bezel is where most of the damage shows up (pictures attached.) As far as the rubber strips (feet) they can be replaced with aftermarket parts for about 9.00 dollars.4) Precision 5550 laptops and it's equivalent XPS 15 9500 are built around one piece aluminum chassis top and bottom with a carbon fiber palm rest. It is compact and relatively lightweight for its build quality.Value:1) The value of this model and configuration is untouchable at its price and performance. The Precision 5550 with these specs originally sold for over $3,800 when new.2) Performance for the value is great, Do not expect 60fps @4k gaming performance as it was not sold with this in mind but it will decently play 60fps at 1080p. It will perform exceptionally with Adobe, Auto Cad, MS Office and many others.Features: In order of importance.1) 4k (3840x2400) borderless touch screen.2) Separate Graphics card2) Windows Hello compatible camera as well as fingerprint reader.3) Sound (leaps and bounds over previous precision models) Speakers face up on the sides of the palmrest as well as down firing sub for better bass.4) Size and weight5) I7 Processor, ram and drive size where on the bottom of my list as all these options will perform beyond my needs.Pros:1) Fits the upgrade path from my previous Precision 5520.2) Value and performance unmatchable.Cons:None. Other than the condition rating by seller. While it was sold as renewed - laptop was in excellent condition. Battery was good. Laptop works as described - came with Windows 10 pro which was upgraded to 11.
