A very good treatment of Shamanism around the world; what is common as well as what is different. Evidently, the work of someone who is passionate about the subject, and someone who has taken the time to learn and practice Shamanism and to adapt it to modern life. The author also helps native peoples to regain some of their culture and practices. Has good recommendations on other useful books on the subject, how to obtain necessary implements, as well as detailed instructions on how to experience Shamanic practices, without the use of drugs. I Highly Recommend this book.
