This clamp is really nice, ive had it for months now and I don't see how i got by without it. It clmps anything up to 4.5" and obviously way better than a spring loaded when it comes to conducting so you won't see sparks flying from the clamp itself when you start a weld. Hooking it up is tricky, you have to flip the part the wire attaches to and rotate it over once its bolted tight. Don't remember if i had to pull the wire through so you may need to remove the wire from the machine otherwise in possible to do especially if you solder the ring terminal on. I don't have a salder pot so I used a torch to do it so the copper wire doesn't get oxidized. Anyway it is very nice never falls off even if you pull on it. Just takes a little longer to put onto the metal than a spring loaded but may save time still and welds look fine with less effort

I love it. The clamp that can not twist ! Very useful for woodworking and blacksmithing. A little expensive but it worth the cost.
