One of the most beautiful books I've ever seen! Well worth many times more than what I paid. Pages are very heavy photographic paper and gorgeously printed. If you like Le Style Mucha and the Art Nouveau movement, this is the book!!

This is not just an excellent biography, it is filled with gorgeous full - page works of Mucha.

Very nice book, full of information and large, full color reproductions of art (on every page!) If you're a fan of art nouveau, this is a must have!

The media could not be loaded. The book it's amazing. High quality art book. My only complaint it's the packaging, didn't have any protection or envelope can preserve the beautiful cover.

If there's any doubt that China has mastered the art of color printing, this book will set your mind at ease. The printing is virtually flawless; the colors are accurate, and the registration is superb. Mucha's incredible skill and eye for beauty leap off the page to enrapture the reader. This is probably as good as color printing gets.

Organization arguments aside, the collected works as presented from an artistic content perspective more than make up for most shortcomings. Yes. For additional biographical data on Mucha one of the many biography focused texts out there could be a good companion. That said, I gave it five stars because the work itself, well... speaks for itself. Beautiful, inspiring collection and presentation!

Es una retrospectiva de todos los años de trabajo del artista, a impresión es de muy buena calidad y el precio aún mejor ya que este mismo libro en otros sitios dobla su precio. Solo tengo una queja y es que la cubierta llegó un poco maltratada y con una pequeña mancha en el centro de la imagen.

My Alphonse Mucha book arrived quickly before it's given E.T.A. packaged very safely bubble wrapped inside a 'dent proof' cardboard carton along with a free bookmark ( book is recessed within carton away from corners so as to avoid dings if the box should be dropped - a nice touch ).The book itself was less than half the price Waterstones are currently selling it for which is great , the pictures within are in great detail and colouring ( i'm unsure why a couple of prior reviews are negatively written re the colour and picture quality perhaps they were unlucky to have received a poor print run copy , the pictures themselves are accurate to the paintings Alphonse created some 129 years ago I guess if you want more colour saturation you would have to digitally enhance his work :)A lovely large book I'd definitely recommend and Ill certainly use Postcript books ago thanks .

Es, con toda probabilidad, uno de los libros más bellos, bellísimos que tengo (¡y tengo muchos!).Un recorrido visual por la obra de Alphonse Mucha, uno de los mayores representantes del Art Nouveau, cuyo legado es tan abundante, generoso y seductor tanto para profanos en el arte como para artistas que lo han tomado como referente.Tiene, además, muchísima información. Eso sí: en inglés. No obstante, no es un problema si lo único que se pretende es deleitarse con la obra de Mucha, ya que cada página es una oportunidad para quedarse boquiabierto/a.Hace tiempo que lo compré y no lo había reseñado. Creo que merece que lo haga aunque solo sea porque, como lo tengo a la vista, a todo el que viene a mi casa le llama la atención tanto su bellísima portada como la espectacular contraportada. Y es que es de esas cosas que nunca te arrepientes de haber comprado por tanto como te aporta. Un paseo por sus páginas es un paseo por la belleza, la imaginación y la exclusividad de un autor tremendamente original, que te deja embelesado con cada detalle.Espectacular, maravilloso, muy bien hecho y absoluta y totalmente recomendable para cualquiera, por muy poco sensible que sea al derroche de belleza.¡Un saludo!
