Super economical & very good quality.
I did not expect the quality of this item to be so good due to the price. It’s not the best ever but it does its job and I cannot stress enough how much I love the price of $11. At this price & quality, I didn’t mind that batteries were not included. I would definitely say that for sure over 12 year old and maybe even 11 year olds, this would probably look small in their hands and so then you would need to check measurements to fit your needed size.

Seems cheaply made
I bought one of these and it seems like it’s really cheaply made. The battery cover was broken, it wouldn’t shut and Amazon replaced it with a brand new one. I bought it as a Christmas gift (it was bought in the summer and it’s October 1 today so it hasn’t been played with yet so I can’t say if the child likes it or not yet-I’m sure he will he really loves power tools) I did put batteries in to make sure it works and it just seems cheap

Toddler LOVES it
Our toddler’s favorite toy. Chain moves and it makes the idle plus the sawing noise. It does hitch and make a clicking noise if the bar/chain is put on something (like playing he’s cutting a log) which lead to his first one breaking. Also of note, being inside or cover it at night, our second one was forgotten outside and the dew killed it I guess. So we’re on our third one because he loves it so much and it’s worth the money. It’s an actual functioning toy chain saw so it’s a very fun toy for a toddler boy wanting to imitate dad. :)

A decent toy for the price
I bought this for my son to play with as he wanted to "chop trees" like his papa. The size was good for a small child to handle and the sound quality was awesome. Durability overall was good but not great on functionality. After less than a month, the "chain" stopped moving. Okay value for money but I wish it didn't half break so soon.

Cheap
Obviously made in china don’t need to say anything more. Chain turning part stopped working within a month and now the trigger doesn’t work. Pure junk

When they want to be "Just like you".
This is a good toy for the imagination or pretending to be just like a real lumber jack.

Didn’t work long
It didn’t take it long to stop working and for the chain to come off. Sound quality was poor. My kid likes playing with it until it tore up. It’s really small in size

Well received gift.
I purchased & gifted to a 2 y.o. for his birthday. My husband said it was not an age-appropriate gift, I said, I would order it and look at it prior to gifting. I reviewed it upon receipt, and deemed it an acceptable gift, not hazardous to the child at all or creating any danger for them, and decided I would leave it up to the parents after gifting if they wanted their child to play with it or not; I figured they would be OK with it though. At the birthday party this was by far the best gift (and by best I don’t mean the most expensive, or the most on brand or trendy gift, but the most gift that elicited excitement and joy) of all the gifts given. All the other children at the party from ages 2 to 11 fought over getting to play with it, to the point where we had to structure turns, using it between the children. Was also a big hit with the adults. The birthday boy absolutely loved it though. Not dangerous and no injuries caused, and that saying something, since I saw children playing with it and using it while bouncing on a trampoline.
