Invacare1115290 Hospital Bed Controller, Replacement Handheld Pendant Remote for Electric Beds

I thank God I found this item!!! I searched high and low for the Drive remote and could not find it. Then found out from Drive Medical Supplies they were on back order. I was in need of this remote TODAY NOT TOMORROW!!! I even called the company we got the bed from. No help there but ready to charge me a fee to come out on Monday. Here it is Friday and I need it NOW!!! I decided to check Amazon and that was the best decision I made. I took a chance on an item that looked like it was compatible made by INVACARE!!! YES THE INVACARE REMOTE SAVED MY LIFE!!! I even replaced it myself. You will need a flathead screwdriver. My Mother who is in her 90's was stuck and I was stuck and I needed help in the worst way, today not tomorrow. I ordered the INVACARE remote from Amazon and it was delivered the same day!!!! Ir is working GREAT!!! I thank God I did!!!! If you are facing the same issue then just step out on faith and give it a try. Sorry for the long post. Whew I am so happy I did.

As a person with complex medical needs who must have a completely functional electric bed and bed control, all I can say is this Full Electric Pendent for my hospital bed is the best you can get. It meets all my functional positioning needs which are absolutely top priority in my care. It also allows me to be more Independent in the positioning and pressure reduction to several locations on my body that need ongoing monitoring and support due to complications that almost took my life again. this replaced one that stopped and it works nicely to raise and lower the bed quite quickly. Easy to use.

The controller stopped working on my sisters bed and we weren't sure how to find a replacement. I was a bit surprised to find the controller on Amazon. Ordered and it arrived the next day. It's the exact replacement. Note that the serial number can be found at the base of the cord where it plugs into the bed. Undoing the clip that holding all the cords is a little tricky, but use the small flat screwdrive to push the clip back on the controller (green) side (I used a swiss army knife). Pull the holder back, remove the old cord, plug in the new (it only goes in one way) and reset the holder. It should work immediately.
