Raicoa Man's Nylon Long Raincoat with Hood for Shtriemel and Hat - with Travel Pouch

Very pleased with this product, the price and the ease of use. Bought this for my young teenager to keep in his backpack for those sudden downpours on a student trip to Europe. He did not want a poncho, so this was a very economical and attractive alternative. The quality was much better than I expected. Large buttons for putting on in a hurry, conveniently small carrying pouch, reflectors on sleeves, and a hood that hugs the head and protects forehead. It was more than large enough for a 36-inch waist, very roomy. AND, when I challenged him to put it back into the pouch, he was able to do so quickly. Have not needed to use it yet, but so far it looks like a very nice, convenient product, especially for the price. I might take it my self on another trip. Highly recommend.

Exactly what I needed. A great traveling raincoat convenient to fold up and pack away and better still an adjustable hood; something lacking in other fold-able raincoats I've come across. A little on the long side, but at least it doesn't touch the floor. Rather it be on the long side anyway to cover up from the rain.

The raincoat itself seemed fine but didn't have it long enough to check thoroughly because of the ENORMOUS hood. Be advised this hood is humongous! I realized that it might be oversized to accommodate the stated headgear but the top of this hood was 2 feet over my head when extended. The front of the hood went over my face and down to about my Adam's Apple. I liked oversize for max coverage and for a cap but this hood is so large it is unworkable for me. Pity. I will have to return.

If you need something to go short distances in the rain this will work, but if you are going to be in the rain for an extended amount of time it's no good. Rain seeps through, pass thru pockets let water in, and the hood is too big. Stand in the rain for a while and you'll be soaked. For the price though, I don't feel like I got screwed.

Great coat and looks good, actually long enough for my 6 foot 3 figure. The left-handed button arrangement is a bit weird, but I think I can handle it. I did not notice any mention in the product description that the hood was sized to fit over a shtreimel, which the Internet tells me is the big circular Hasidic Jewish headdress that looks like a large go-cart tire. That's okay, I probably will not use the hood, but then again, maybe it will fit over my cowboy hat.

Not completely water proof

seams leak is even light rain. Hood is so large I HAVE to wear my brimmed hat underneath (which is ok, that's why I bought it). But just know the hood is huge. Just wish they'd taped the seams

This rain coat was exactly as expected. I am 6'6" tall and weigh 240 lb. and this covered me down to mid calf. Would purchase again if needed.
