Home theater and audiophile enthusiast
Wow! Got myself two of these 8 ohms (4 ohm since I'm sharing into a single 500 watt dayton subwoofer amp. I built the boxes 4.5 cubic feet net SEALED with adequate bracing. The amp gain only has to be 1/4 way up, NO MORE. Use the DSP in your receiver to help balance out what needs to be. Wow! I got these to sound great with music as well as home theater! And yes! Plenty of push and vibration all the way down to 20hz! KID YOU NOT! This is because of their size and I have two of them. I went with sealed because I want the response to be quicker to make up for their cheapness and size, and it worked out nice! Best part too if one ever damages I wouldn't mind slapping $100 down for another, easy replacement!I've played with many SVS models, and I went DIY and hearing the results I don't feel like I'm missing much. Again, 100 bucks a pop!

Pretty Fire
Not gonna lie but these things pound some clean bass👍🏼If you want clean, between 32hz-120hz bass and then get them. I have 4 and custom made enclosures, each pair ran on a crown 1502 amp and they have blown me away especially for the price!!! Sometimes the crown amps tend to clip a bit but these things love that power especially being clean power and run cool👍🏼 each sub is receiving about 400-475 rms and amp is running of course on bridge at 4ohms. These amps can give you a band pass filter which is awesome!! but i have them at 37.5hz to 125hz and they are more then happy to run all night so far not complaints and have used them about 12 times 5 hour edm and hiphop parties nonstop. Sound very similar to 2 jbl srx dual 18’s with the custom made boxes. highly recommended for a project!! Get a pair and feed it the right power and a good enclosure and you will not be disappointed.

Good China
Once again people "MADE IN CHINA" normally garbage, but not always. Most name brands outsource to China unless you're talking top of the line. These hit pretty hard, good size magnet, put them in a transmission line box, the whole house shakes like crazy! Sounds clean driving it with the Behringer Inuke 6000. The amp was questionable itself but when I used my QSC RMX 2450 it kept popping the breaker. That amp actually can overpower this speaker. Anyways hits hard, sounds clean, you can tell it is a quality speaker. I have bad China, and good China. This is an example of the GOOD CHINA.

Never again buy a Pevey or York
the Pevey Black widow was super disappointing has really low power rating for what it is built for so after the smoke clears I bought the 1800w 107oz 18" 8 ohm Rockville replacement I was sceptical but couldn't afford a EV.I paired it with a XLS 1002 crown bridged it's a perfect fit for my setup and it out preforms the Pevey 118 BW in every way but time will tell we're on day 3

Great speaker, great sound, right price
After doing a lot of research I decided to go with these sub woofers. I replaced 2 blown Peavey 1801-8 with these and I was thoroughly impressed. Great bass response. My PA towers get used once a week so I don't know how well they would hold up in a professional environment where they were used daily but for my application I have no issues what so ever. I will definitely be using Rockville's to replace some blown 15's I have in another cabinet.

For the money it’s a good sub
Using this in a home studio with an acoustic drum set present. It is loud enough to balance out the noise of a full kit so it’s perfect. I would reccomend this if you are looking for something to use at home with a full size PA or in a gig between 300-500 people. Note: make sure you have solid tweeter speakers(800watts) minimum each otherwise this sub will overpower them.
