Are these small enough to be a choking hazard?

Just bought these, and I would say it is possible. My 2.5 year old surprisingly put the oval ones in his mouth. He doesn't usually do that anymore, but he was trying to be funny and get a reaction from me. Well, the whole thing fit in his mouth with lips almost closed. While it's probably too large to swallow, I promptly put them away for another time. Maybe I'll just take out the ovals and the circles because the other ones don't fit into his mouth and would be less of a hazard. Of course, this might just be an issue for my silly child because he also put the string in his mouth and smiled at me. But definitely supervise.
