The picture and the end product are two different things

Having used other impression kits where there is no inkpad - just some ink on clingfilm, this product is better by far! We got this product instead of the other kit as we were frustrated that we tried and failed and found you couldn't do any test runs. When you have a 4 month old baby, you definitely need to be able to have a go at it a couple of times. 5 sheets are given in this kit, so plenty for testers or additional prints as your child grows. The inkpad is very inky, so we found that you do not need to press your baby's hand or foot hard in the inkpad, otherwise it smudges. Very professional kit however and good instructions. Would definitely recommend.

I thought I was ordering the inkless kit, this was my error, however, I tried to use on my 1 week old baby, foot print was ok but the hand print impossible with newborn clenched fists as you only have one shot before the ink is everywhere.I succeeded in ruining a white baby grow, getting ink stains on my baby hand and nails, all resulting in a rather ugly splodge on the page.Very disappointed as the chance for this keepsake has now passed.

Not bad. As a finished product it looks great but its quite cheap and I’m not sure it’s quite worth the money. My main concern was ‘non-toxic’ ink so I went with it but its only worth about £8 tops, in my opinion.We printed on to good quality white paper and centred that for an easier result.Ps its VERY hard to get hand prints!! Our baby has his hands closed alllllll the time!

I bought several of these frames as gifts for Christmas and they were so well received.I found this was easily achieved by just me (although if you do have another person to help it would be ideal).To get the print of my 3 month olds hands I tickled the back of it once the ink was applied and placed it onto the middle section of the paper firstly (were the photo goes) as a test before quickly then pressing the hand onto the area i actually wanted it. This ensured that i removed all the excess ink and got my 'test' out of the way without using too much paper. The product comes with several sheets of paper and double sided tape. So i selected my favourite prints and then would cut them out and tape them onto the one sheet to achieve what's shown in the image. The ink is easily wiped off with a water wipe, although some remains under the nails, which i filed off after his bath.I paid £13.98 for this product.
