ANCHOR BUTTER New Zealand Butter Salted, 8 OZ

Growing up in Southeast Asia, we had easy access to New Zealand's Anchor butter for everyday consumption. Moving to the States as an adult, I found the butters here tasteless. I thought it was just a change in my tastebuds, but when I was able to get Anchor butter again, I did a simple taste test and realized that the high quality flavour of the NZ butter was real! I have tried all kinds of butter here - organic and not, even butters imported from France, Ireland, Germany, etc. Nothing - NOTHING - comes close to the fresh taste of New Zealand's Anchor Butter, which has hints of clover and something really special that's hard to describe! The NZ government has very strict regulations for its cows and all, and these cows graze upon meadow grasses - you can taste it in the butter!So if you're reading this and getting curious - don't waste another second - order yourself some real Anchor Butter. You won't regret it, and you won't look back!

This was amazing butter. I never thought I'd be willing to pay this much for it, but it is REAL. Not greasy or watery. Smooth and not strong but mild.

First and foremost I commend people that want to eat Grass Fed Butter which is a Nutritional Powerhouse, BUT Anchor New Zealand Butter is NOT and HASN'T been fully Grass Fed since 2012.....They have moved their operations to the U.K and the Cows only eat Grass have of the Year than the other half they eat Grains......That's why it doesn't taste the same anymore!!! Anchor and Amazon should be ashamed of themselves calling it Grass Fed Butter if it is only Grass Fed half of the year. do yourself a favor and research it and purchase Grass Fed Butter from a Company that hasn't sold out for cheap products.

I love this butter. First got it when stationed in southeast Asia. But it was not easy to find there and I was reluctant to try a product from so far away. It has a taste know other butter has. Delicious cold on hot rolls.

It tasted fine, but tastes different and is not what I know New Zealand Anchor Butter to be. It is for sure a different product from what one can buy in NZ. I rated it lower because I was hoping for the same as what is sold in NZ. .

Anchor is very good butter but did not measure up to the descriptions in earlier reviews. Well worth a try.

A bit pricey but delicious. Found out the Irish make the same product in local store at a considerably lower price.
