Beginner Can Learn to Play - Experienced Pianist can play in any room at home.
These three features make this a well worth purchase. Sound - Action - ConstructionRealistic Grand Piano Sound - Action has subtle Escapement Feel Built In - Quality Roland ConstructionThe FP 30X price point is hard to beat. This keyboard has many features but if you want a quality Grand Piano sound in a simplistic design then this model is for you. I recommend the Roland stand and the basic Roland non adjustable bench. Be advised there is a sister model F -107 that has a cabinet with drop down simulated wood cove key cover which I recommend first. As with any instrument I recommend you play the instrument before purchasing. Check Roland for rebates.

Incredible piano
I have played and taught piano for years. I have had many digital pianos more expensive than this— but you know, this is my favorite. It has a heavier action with enough resistance to compare with a baby grand. The sound is quality- like a grand. My issue is the pedal. No digital piano has adequate pedaling but even so, I plan to upgrade to a 3 pedal unit and stand. Hopefully that will at least improve it a bit. Either way if you are looking for a quality digital piano, look no further. I have a $2200 Yamaha Clavinova and I like the Roland better!

Great keyboard
Wonderful keyboard. In piano mode, it sounds exactly like a "real" piano. Lots of sound settings. Easy to hook up. Very happy with this purchase.

Best Keyboard Action & Sound in Its Price Range
I upgraded to this Roland digital piano from a smaller 76 key keyboard by Casio. The differences are remarkable. The Roland keyboard is widely recognized as the closest in feel to that of an acoustic grand piano and is much firmer than simpler keyboards like the smaller Casio. That is recommended for developing the best muscle memory in the hands and fingers as you practice. The sound also much richer and fuller. The speakers are excellent and provide plenty of volume. The only real negative is that the included sustain pedal is small and plastic and too light in weight to stay in place. Fortunately, my old sustain pedal that I had purchased for use with the Casio keyboard appears to work fine. Roland sells a three-pedal unit, but it is only designed to work with their keyboard stand and might be difficult to configure without purchasing the stand.

Piano good, support bad.
App has bugs and Roland support was so very disappointing. I assumed for as expensive as the product is that they would care more. The piano is amazing.

Feels like real acoustic piano
I totally love this piano. Action of its key gives you the real piano feeling. It has a simple design. All the features can be directly used via a mobile app. Bluetooth capability of connecting with ipad, mobile, and speakers is a nice feature to have.

Great keyboard
This was bought for a piano player in a small apartment. This keyboard can be used with headphones so it can be played anytime of the day without disturbing others. The keys are weighted so they have a piano feel, very pleased with the purchase.

I am in love with this Piano
I have been playing it for a few months and I love it. It sounds great with headphones and through monitors. The built in speakers are very nice for practice situations. Pros: It connects to the iPad and can control synths in the App Store with midi but also send that audio back through the keyboard speakers. Same thing with PC. The stock piano sound and electric piano sound are really nice. Cons: the sustain is kind of weird I don’t know how else to describe it. Sometimes it just abruptly ends and other times it sustains but reduces volume based on how long your foot was off the pedal. I’ve never seen another keyboard that does this but it’s not noticeable when connecting to a VST. The key action is nice but it is loud. If you try to play quietly without headphones the key action sound can compete with you
