The ring is gold plated. But, it has an extreme high gloss. Wears well. Comfortable fit. True to size. And looks good too.

Q: What is the Base metal?

It is qualified copper, my dear, and plated in 18K Gold.

Q: how do i know what size ring i wear

You get a ring measuring tool and put them on the finger you want to display the ring and woo hoo the size will be on the one you see.

Q: Did this ring end up tarnishing after a while?

For me it never tarnished, but some of the brighter gold did rub off after about 4 months
