Pen Light, Escolite LED Penlight Medical with Pupil Guage for Doctors Nurses White, Pink and Orange

First things first: I had a devil of a time finding an orange penlight and I have to tell you--this is not orange. It's brown. Quel malheur. The light is bright enough for the job, which is nice. The AAA battery is fairly cheap--which is nice because the light can and will be turned on in your pocket, without your knowledge or intent. The lighting mechanism feels loose in the metal tube, and wobbles when you shake it lightly.As penlights go, there's cheaper quality but this has a long way to go to deserve a higher rating.

The light pen is very sturdy and well made. The click on/off is nice so you don't accidentally turn on the light and kill your battery. The light is bright, almost too bright. There is an eye gauge printed on the side of the pen for quick reference when determining pupil diameter. One feature I really like is the squishy tip that is perfect for using on an iPad or other touch screen device. The only reason I did not give this device five stars is because the squishy tip that I love feels a little flimsy. I am not convinced that it is going to stay intact for the long haul.

Really nice penlights. Both came in secure, foam packaging, with two sets of batteries and the colors are exactly like what is pictured. Both penlights work - make sure you put the batteries in the right way! The light is bright and directed without being overly painful. The pupil gauge and ruler are on the side, but since I've just started to use these, I can't attest to how well they hold up under use. The pen is of a nice weight, and feels good in the hand. I find it very handy to be able to flip the pen over and use the stylus tip to take a note on a mobile device without worrying about getting whatever is on my gloves onto my phone/tablet. Would definitely buy again, especially if they come up with other colors.

The stylus portion fell off of one of them immediately and I could not get it back on. Went to grab the other one and put the batteries in that the light came with didn't work, opened some new Duracell batteries didn't work so tossed it on my bed and asked my husband to check it out thinking maybe it was an operator error by the time he went to look at it about 10/15 min later the pen was so hot we couldn't even touch luckily it didn't catch on fire!!! Fair warning it's a POS

I'm an EMT. Had one of these in my side pockets first shift after purchase. Whole top broke off when rubbing against a seat in the ambulance. The top unscrews for batteries. This is what keeps coming off. Never bothered to take the other out of the box. Sad cause they are nice and a great weight but can't be worn picking out of a pocket even a little.

The Pen Lights didn't come with a stylus and on one review I missed says the same. Main reason I purchased this item and sounds like the stylus falls off anyway. Even the colors are off, light pink and brownish orange. I should have read the reviews more closely; so far they do work as a flash light.

I bought this as a stocking stuffer for my husband for the orange light, and only the pink one worked. He had to take out the inside of the pink one and put it in the orange one to have what really wanted. Very disappointed.

I specifically chose this product for the fluorescent colors. The bright orange and pink, but that is not what I received. So I'm disappointed about that. Light is yellow in color. Doesnt bother me too much it will still get the job done.
