Some Pros & Some Cons
Pros:*limited ingredients*natural ingredients*eco-friendly*good results in textureCons:*smell*consistency*mediocre results in appearance*PRICEFirst, the smell...I presume "unscented" means there are no added fragrances; it certainly does not mean the product has no scent. It smells like apple cider vinegar, which I find unpleasant. Fortunately, the scent doesn't seem to linger once the product is rinsed out, so that is a partially redeeming factor. As you can see in the photo, my hair (air-dried, without styling products) looks nice and soft. It did feel soft, too. Nevertheless, I was only moderately satisfied with the overall appearance, but this is primarily due to personal preference. My hair is thin and fine, and tends to have zero volume at the roots; therefore, I generally seek products that help to increase volume. This product does not contribute to volume at all.Truthfully, all of the things I didn't love about it are probably a direct result of all the things I did love about it. That is to say, there is a trade-off for the eco-friendly, natural ingredients, with no added chemicals. I'm guessing that the qualities I look for in my hair products (thick, creamy conditioner, with a nice perfumed fragrance, that I can really feel coating and penetrating my hair) are probably a result of all those synthetic chemicals.Ultimately, my review is greatly guided by my personal preferences, and my individual needs. Though it isn't exactly right for me, I do think this product would be ideal for many people, especially those who are seeking products as close to nature as possible. The one complaint I have that I believe transcends personal hair preferences is the cost. $23.95 for 9 fl. oz. is expensive, even more expensive than many salon-quality brands (i.e., a 9.5 fl. oz. bottle of Biolage conditioning balm is $16.15 here on Amazon). This price is even more considerable when you take into account the consistency, which is thinner than most other conditioners out there; I can imagine you might run out of this more quickly than other products.

Overall, not a fan
I'll just say right at the start...this stuff smells like apple cider vinegar with a little bit of vomit mixed in.I'm a big believer in using body and cleaning products that are as natural as possible. I love using Bronners soaps, use essential oil blends and ozonated water for a lot of my household cleaning, etc. But I don't give any product a pass just because it's "natural"...it still needs to work the way it's supposed to and be an overall good experience. So my first time using this stuff and right off the bat, the smell is atrocious. The apple cider vinegar aspect I don't mind...I like apple cider vinegar and even drink it (added to ice water) almost every day. But it's that vomit smell that I just can't tolerate. I guess it's from the probiotics? But I figure I'll try and push past the smell...maybe this stuff works amazing and is going to work wonders...So I gave it a week and I can say that my hair is really no different than before. I'd say this conditioner works as well as any cheap conditioner that you'd buy at the grocery store. I'm a little skeptical that there is anything going on with the "probiotics" and that smell...ugh, that smell. It fades as soon as you rinse it...but yuck. Why in the world do I want to use a product that doesn't work as well as a standard conditioner and makes me suffer through a vomit scented shower? The answer is...I don't (especially for the price).

Conditioner OK, Customer Service Excellent!
I bought this to help my psoriasis based on the positive comments I read on Amazon. As advertised, it made my hair very soft. However, it's effectiveness for my psoriasis was good for about the first three days, and then my scalp started itching again. It's not any better or worse than anything else I've used, but it may work for youUpdate: Because of my review, I was quickly contacted by the company, who gave me a full refund. I wasn't looking for a refund--I told them that I had unsuccessfully tried a lot of products, but I just hadn't found the right one. They still very graciously refunded my money because they wanted me to be completely satisfied. I think that's a petty good incentive to at least try their product.

Must have for seb derm
I left the same review for the shampoo... I bought this shampoo and conditioner to help with my seborrheic dermatitis. Both were listed as “safe” meaning they don’t have ingredients that feed the yeast. My hair and scalp feel so much healthier since using these products. I don’t notice any smell and appreciate the minimal ingredients to allow the scalp to heal. Make sure you use the conditioner on your scalp too, not like traditional conditioner. I also use a small amount as a leave in detangler. It’s almost impossible to find shampoo and conditioner with no fragrance, silicones, oils, para end and strong surfactants. I hope they never change this formula!

Works as a leave-in
Like some of the other reviewers, I'm sensitive to coconut oil and that seems to be in almost every hair product for dry hair and curly. Heavy, oily hair conditioners can also be tough on acne prone skin. This conditioner glides through my fine, but dense curly/afro-textured hair. My hair feels very silky when wet, and soft when dry. It's expensive for the amount I need to use, so I now use it as a leave-in vs. a rinse out conditioner. I use a styling gel for hold, but I can use less gel now because the conditioner does a good job defining the curls on its own. Will re-order.
