Weaver Original Non-Adjustable Nylon Horse Halter

These are good-quality halters for the price. I would definitely by again. However, the sizing is a little smaller than other brands I have. The large size did not fit my warmblood mare - had to go with a large in Hamilton brand which are a bit bigger. Just something to keep in mind when fitting your horses.

The color is a bright raspberry color and is very attractive. Unfortunately I guestimated my horse's size and the halter is too small. I ordered size "small horse" and it just barely fits my 12.5-13 hand just turned 2 year old quarter horse cross dun. I ordered the size average horse and will let you know how it fits when I get it along with pictures. Very strong stitching, bright gorgeous colors, and long lasting usage. I love these non adjustable halters from Weaver.P.S. the halter size "small horse" fits my 12 hand POA perfectly.

The only reason I'm giving this halter 4 stars is because the size large is huge. I ordered one for my 16'2 Andalusian and it was too big for her. If you have a large horse I recommend you order the average size.

Quality halter for a reasonable price. Soft but not thin or whimpy. Double ply. I'm not a fan of gold, but all the dingalings that dictate style have determined its the in color of metal so you get gold colored metal parts. The average horse fits my friend's 15hh solidly built quarter horse gelding. He was drowning in the large. The large fits my friend's 16.2HH warm blood type gelding.

Looks like a nice halter however the sizes seem to run large. I purchased a 'large' horse size based on the info as well as reviews but it's too big for my 16.2 Missouri Fox Trotter with a big head! Even using the last loop hole, the halter was still big and especially under the throat latch area where I was worried he might be able to pull it off his head. Will try the 'average' horse size next...

Great quality halter for a very fair price. And nylon webbing is soft and wide, so no buckle sores at all. And the colors are bright and varied, so you'll find one to compliment every horse, plus if someone looses theirs in the pasture they are easy to find! (unless you get green). Will buy again for sure!

I know you are not supposed to leave halters on horses (in my case mules) when turned out, but ICE I want to be able to fetch and secure them with no drama. These halters hold up in all weather, but do stiffen over time. Therefore I replace them priodically. I order the brown color because they blend in with the "scenery" and they are roomy enough to fit over fly masks. Please keep making the brown color - for some reason the are harder to find.

OMG! This thing is HOT NEON orange. I absolutely dig the color. It's unique and doesn't blend with the sea of neon pinks and greens. High visibility in the field. Quality is very durable, runs large, my guy is average head size and I could stand to punch some more holes in it, but it's fine as is.

Lovely colour for my horse but it fits small. It says average horse but it did not fit when we tried it on. A horse/full is typical size but for this halter you’d need a large horse to fit and horse/full sized horse.

I’m really happy with this purchase. The colours that this company has is what really caught my eye. I ordered the peachy colour and it’s perfect. I thought because it’s cheaper that the buckles might be like a hard plastic, but they are actually metal and the entire harness is very strong. I’ll be ordering some of the other colours because I’m very happy with the quality and the new colours that I don’t have access to where I live.

It's my mistake but the chin is not adjustable. it will eventually fit my foal but now, there is a tie wrap. Otherwise, no complaint
