Not 005
These are not 005s. They are 02’s. I’m keeping them because they’ll come in handy for some things but why advertise something as one thing that turns out to be another? Profit is why. And it’s a sad state of affairs when it comes to that. They’re OK when you mix em with a Rotring pen. Don’t buy em under their present description is all I’m saying.

I gave into the hype...
Having seen a lot of people on social media, especially bigger artists, use these fine liners I finally gave in and purchased some. I previously used Unipin fine liners for my ink work including stippling and hatching. I must say that I now prefer these sakura microns mostly because the ink flow is always so consistent which is great for line work and crosshatching. From my experience they can be a bit blotchy at times when creating very fine stippling. 4 stars because the nibs are not as tough as other fine liners I've used.

For when you have to draw the line
Not talking about a line in the sand either. These here fineliners are no slouches when it comes to drawing those lines that must not be crossed. The finest lines known to humanity. Here and now. Forget your cruiseliners and flatliners, these baebes will get you to the finish line. Damn, I could do this all day. That's how good they are. Line up and get some while they're hot and fresh.

It is a 0.2mm nib not a 0.05mm nib.
Very high quality pen. Doesn’t need time to dry out and has a very fine nib. Do keep in mind that the nib is not 0.05mm, it is in fact 0.2mm. The number of the pen is 005, which can lead to confusion regarding the nib size. Flows smoothly and tailors perfectly to my needs.

Ideal for linework drawings
These are my favorite fineliners. Tried multiple brands but Sakura Micron is the best so far at stable line work, great color stability and ease of use. Definitely would buy again.
