I was hesitant to purchase this at such a high price point for gel, but I was not let down. The first tub I purchased I used on myself and kids and it worked on all the different textures of hair we have. It’s not an extra hold gel. It holds long enough to style and easy to wash out. The sent is mild and the shine is pretty shiny the first day. Overall it is a great product and I will purchase again.

It does not have a stiff or stcky hold, but it keeps all of your fly aways in place for what seems like weeks for me. I honest love this product and will not use any other braiding gels. I’ve been using this product for years at this point & for good reason. You get a ton for the price and the quality/longevity is unmatched. It is a solid pomade texture, so a little goes a long way. It tames frizz, makes parts look cleaner, and does not turn white on my hair. I even use it as edge control with no issues on my 4B hair lol. I also love how it doesn’t have any masking fragrances.
