MicroFlex Series Kick Scooters (200m)

I purchased this scooter to replace my Razor Cruiser, on which the rear fender brake wore out after nearly 5 years of daily use. I also considered the Razor A5. I chose the Micro Flex Black because 1) it has a higher deck clearance than the Micro White/Black (to clear bumps/cracked sidewalk in an urban environment), 2) it uses a standard fender brake instead of the weird brake button on the Micro Flex Blue, and 3) I have to admit it looks much cooler than a Razor A5. The Micro Flex Black met my expectations in all these areas.As soon as I took it to the sidewalks of San Francisco, I noticed how smooth the ride was. What used to be a white-knuckle ride on the Cruiser became a mundane Sunday drive, as I rode over bumps that used to make me wobble. It is also smoother than the ride on a Razor A5, which is already pretty smooth. Additionally, I am able to coast down even slightly downhill areas without having to push myself.The folding mechanism is a bit more complicated than the Razor, as it uses two spring-loaded pins in addition to a tightening lever. It is relatively easy to get used to, as long as you don't over-tighten the lever (but that also defeats the purpose of the lever). I was also impressed to notice the brake is reinforced with an extra metal panel where it meets the wheel, hopefully meaning it will last a long time! The deck has less usable area than the Razor, but I usually ride with one foot fully on the deck and the other one in back poised to brake, so I didn't notice a difference.Overall I'm quite happy with my purchase.

The Micro is heavier than the scooter I had originally wanted, but it is sturdy and smooth. I love it.

UpdateAble to fix the misaligned handle. Seems to be a known issue. There is a video on the micro site on using the Allen wrench to repair. Raising to a 4.We’ll see how it goes. May raise to 5 later.Original Review.Bought this after a ton of research. I was not going cheap mainly for safety reasons. It is so hard to tell authentic reviews.This scooter looks nice especially the platform. I like the locking system as well which is used to fold and unfold it.About a week into using it, the handle mechanism turns without turning the front wheel. So basically the handle turns to the left and the wheel stays straight.Disappointed.

Amazing! I'm a 47 year old and this makes me feel like a kid! So much fun and fast. Sturdy, collapses really easily. If you see someone racing in downtown Cincinnati, it's probably me!

My husband purchased this since he wanted to shorten his commute and get on time to his job site from the parking lot.He loves it and he enjoys the work out. We both thinks it's awesome you can collapse it and place it in the trunk. Would recommend to a friend!

Amazing build quality and it rides smoothly.

This is their best scooter. It is the fastest one. I have tried some their other one with the suspension, but I like this one the best since it is the fastest. I like that the tires are hard and you don't ever have to pump them up either.

The media could not be loaded.  This is my first scooter since childhood and I'm loving it.Before choosing the Micro Flex Deluxe I looked at several of the cheaper Chinese scooters but felt they were mostly cheap for a reason with poor engineering and a generally flimsy feel. The Micro won easily, despite the higher price due to its quality, engineering and the availability of spares which should increase its longevity. Choosing between the Flex Deluxe and Suspension models was a further dilemma but the Flex Deluxe won due to its folding handgrips on the handlebars because mine needs to be carried on a car front passenger seat. Folded it measures a mere 80 x 33 x 13cm.For reference, I am 1.76m, 52kg with size 8 feet and the Flex Deluxe is brilliant. My foot fits easily on the deck and the handlebars fully extended are the ideal height for me.I've used it on flat and paved surfaces where it easily gains momentum and excels. Living in a rural area however, there aren't many flat or paved surfaces for which it is designed but it also runs reasonably well on rough lanes (although is harder work) on asphalt, grit and stone tracks, dried woodland pathways and it isn't hindered by small twigs. Soft mud and soft lawn stop it dead but I hope it might cope on short dry grass in the summer. Following all our rain and waterlogged ground it will be some months before I can test this.Assembly takes seconds: just insert the handgrips into the handlebars until they click into place then adjust the height. Unfold the handlebar stem, squeeze the silver and blue buttons behind the front wheel and the scooter opens out, snaps into place and is secured by a clip. Beneath the rear mudguard is a brake which is effective in dry conditions but more of a challenge on wet roads. The non-slip fibreglass (and wood - not visible) deck offers some shock absorbing spring on rough ground and helps make it most enjoyable to ride.I haven't used a kick scooter for nearly 50 years so I wobbled along on my first attempt but by day 4 my confidence had grown and I can now do a controlled stop, steer and love scooting along our quiet lanes. It takes more effort than I imagined (or hoped) to scoot up inclines so I give in gracefully, walk and push it along instead. Gentle downhills are brilliant and placing the kicking-foot on the rear mudguard ensures speed is controlled on downhill inclines, with the option of a gentle stop too. Best of all are flat and smoothly surfaced paths, parks and seafront promenades.Initially, as a 'mature' adult, I attracted a few long stares from those who'd only ever seen their grandchildren playing on scooters, or these amused grandchildren themselves, but attitudes are changing and, although scooting isn't going to replace my +25 mile bike rides, it is good exercise, the fun alternative to walking and very much faster. It's a great lockdown pastime too and I've enjoyed scooting around smooth, deserted car parks teaching myself to weave around car markings on the ground ready for when I can use it properly to go to places once lockdown ends. Highly recommended if you're not too self conscious!I would happily buy another Micro Scooter again in preference to the Chinese budget brands and would definitely recommend the Micro Flex Deluxe for use on rougher surfaces.

On l'a plie, la sangle sur l'épaule et hop...on entre dans les supérettes de proximité pour quelques emplettes. (évitez les courses lourdes genre bouteilles). Rapide sur sol lisse, elle roule aussi sur trottoirs avec aspérités (petits cailloux, petites bosses), à vous de gérer l'état du sol. Le site www.micro-mobility.fr permet l'achat de pièces détachées.Voilà, je suis entièrement satisfaite de mon achat. Je recommande. Je précise que j'ai 69 ans et sportive 🌞

Wir hatten 2 micro scooters ohne "Flex", die trotz abschließend mit Schloss gestohlen sind, gehabt. Deshalb habe ich uns eine Micro Scooter Flex 200 und eine Micro Scooter Flex Air geholt. Das Fahrgefühl sind ganz andres, also positiv andres, und Wert ist mehr als Preisdifferenz.Ich habe beide Lenkstange gegen integrierte Schloss-Lenkstange von micro getauscht. Ich hoffe, dass uns gegen Diebstahl hilft...

my kids love it! I love it too!

An excellent adult scooter. Very well made and gives a smooth balanced ride - the kick board suspension is excellent. The scooter is compact and very light, one can take it into stores, etc and carrying it for the sub-way, etc is easy. Allowed on footpaths and is hence very accessable everywhere!
