Great product. We have had 4 pouches before this and they only seem to last for a month or so, then you realise you can open and lock the car with the key still in the pouch! Not good. Had this wallet for a couple of months now and seems much better. Good strong zip and a nice size. Would fit most keys I reckon. Smaller and neater than the pouches too. I keep only the car key in it so plenty big enough.

So far so good - it seems to work, unlike the less bulky 'pouches' that I have previously used that only seem to manage 3 months best.End November 24 update - the little chain that holds the key has broken now. Managed 2 months!

An honest review for those who value reviews.I bought two faraday pouches to protect my Ford Ranger from relay thieft. Within a few days, the zip broke on one of the pouches. Additionally, the pouches never worked. I was able to unlock my car (by placing my hand around the driver's door handle and the door unlocked) and start the ignition (thus engine), all with the key being in the pouch the entire time. I insist that you not to buy this product.I would put zero stars if possible because it does not function.

I recently bought a keyless car so wanted a faraday pouch for the key. Bought some of the flat pouches and they were too large, so I bought this as it was smaller. But it's just too bulky. I've now opted for the smaller sized flat pouches which seem to suit me well.My advice is to measure your key - as they do vary - and check the sizes of the pouches you are looking at; assess the space in your pocket/bag etc, and then decide what to go for. And opt for the ones with free returns just in case!

Compact, well made, key fits snugly.

This looks good and the leather exterior has a nice soft feel to it, but the zip on it is really sticky which makes it difficult to use. The first thing I tested on this was the zip and that seemed to work fine so I went ahead and purchased a second one without actually putting my key in it and then trying it. That was a big mistake on my part as when the key is in the pouch, then the zip has a totally different feel to it. When the the interior guard is pushing on the zip this then makes the zip really tricky to open and close due to the pressure of the key pushing the guard up firmly against the zip.I have ended up keeping them even though they are difficult to use because of the zip issue. The reason why I have kept them is because I am hoping that over time the leather will soften up a bit and become a bit looser and then free up the zip a little bit so that it zips and unzips smoothly, as it does when there's no key in it. On the other hand it could go the other way and the zip may break due to me having to force it all the time to open and close it. Time will tell I guess, and I'll be sure to come back and update the review accordingly.How it currently stands, I would say this is a 3 star product as it does do the job, which is to block the signal when the key is in it and it is fully zipped up. Remember to have the zip fully closed though as once I left it open a little and my car opened (as it is keyless entry as long as it detects the signal from the key that you have on you). Had the zip been better I would have given it 4 stars and had they brought the price down a bit then it would have got all 5 stars

Needed to replace an older box that was no longer blocking the key. It feels much better quality, more metal covered in faux leather. Sat in my car and tried to start the car with the key in the box and it came up on the dash that no key was detected whereas my old one no longer did this. I guess like everything in life, where there’s a will there’s away but with this and my steering lock, it’s a slight deterrent. Zip is rather tight, hopefully it won’t break but I guess it needs to be a tight fit.
