Fun Express DIY Plastic Maracas - Bulk 24 Pack - Paint it Yourself Crafts for Kids

This item is great for the little hands of a preschooler. It as a good sound and is fun. I was expecting the entire item to be wood, but it is just the handle. The rattle part of it is plastic. We decorated maracas to bring in the New Year by using permanent markers on them instead of kid friendly markers, because those just wiped off of the instrument.

The media could not be loaded.  Compared to the picture they look different. They seem good quality and the size is good for little kids 4-5 years old.

These were much smaller than I was able to discern from the description and review. They seem well made and cute, but have minimal sound. Be assured these are better for a craft (as noted in the description) than an instrument for small children. Even pre-school aged kids would have difficulty holding on to these because they are so small--About 4 inches long.
