Jobe’s Garden Fertilizer Spikes, Easy Plant Care Fertilizer for Tomato Plants, 18 Count

I put these spikes around my tomato plants and within weeks the growth of the plants exploded. I can’t say enough about these spikes. They worked well and my tomato plants produced double since add to my garden. Highly recommend for their results and price.

I was looking at my tomato plants in their grow bags, wondering why they looked so unproductive..then realized I had forgotten to feed them as they grew. Hurriedly ordered these then added the recommended 2 per grow bag, watered, and waited. Whew! Within a week, the plants had perked up, set lots of green tomatoes, and are now making up for lost time.

Planted around shrubs and it seems to encourage growth.

The reason I only gave it 4 stars is some of them were broken. Otherwise the rest are ok. They go in the ground anyway. They are a good brand I have used before and I am sure they’ll work. Lee

This year I will wait longer into the season, first of june, to apply next to the tomato plants. Instead of inserting them at the time of planting the small starter tomato plants, done thirty days ago. Last time I inserted them at the time of planting the small starter plants, which I see this time they are not really needed in my soil for vine growth. But we'll be needed when the plant is producing the tomatoes. I am doing this to see if this time I have a longer harvesting time into the fall of the year without adding any other nutrients. Product works great When inserted into the soil next to You're tomatoes for at least 4 mo.

Haven’t used yet, but I’ve used fertilizer stick from this company before and like their performance!

Easy to use great value

I didn’t use these last year and noticed a difference in vitality of my tomato plants from the year before when I used them. Had a bag full but misplaced them. Couldn’t locate the pack and made do with Miracle Grow I had on hand instead.This year found them and used them when plants were planted as suggested on package.Very pleased with results so far this year. Plants are robust with many blooms that are setting tomatoes.I’m sold.Set and forget unlike Miracle Grow that has to be reapplied every several weeks and doesn’t seem to work as well.A long time ago when I had house plants I used their all purpose indoor plant stakes with excellent results.Just bought the ones for veggies to use on my peppers. Hope they work as well.As with other reviewers some spikes where broken during shipping.
