If your child/student enjoys historical fiction, these are a great read for 8 to 10 year olds

Ranger in Time is a great story. These are perfect for a history loving 3rd or 4th grader. It’s one that once you start, it’s hard to put down.

Another great "Ranger In Time" book. Both my son and daughter love this book series. I love it as a parent because it is a fun way for them to not only learn history but to experience it. I highly recommend this and the entire series.

My grandson is 9 and loves thee books about a time traveling dog. He's read them all.

This book was great for me ( because I like learning about war) and I would recommend this book to older kids. However, for young children it might be a little too scary. (Written by 9 year old daughter, Lanie.)
