No More Limping
I received the compression socks on Saturday when I got home after an art event (and I was in some added pain due walking and carrying heavy boxes — loading up a car with boxes and walking back and forth and up flights of stairs and down flights of stairs). So when I saw the package had been delivered, I immediately put the socks on, and I’ve been wearing them consistently since then (five days now) — throughout the day and into the night. I don’t think I can give a complete evaluation yet because I haven’t worn them that much, but I will note what I can for now.First of all, I bought them because I have a sharp pain in my left heel, and I’ve been limping and favoring my right leg. I have had the pain for about two weeks. It just happened one morning when I got out of bed. The pain was there. I’m sure it has to do with my flat feet and me wearing flat shoes and being in stocking feet more than in proper shoes, etc. But with flat feet, you just sort of live with being uncomfortable. And I’d rather be shoeless than be confined in shoes. I cannot think and be creative with shoes on. Anyway, I’ve never experienced a sharp pain in my heel. Feels like I am stepping on a sharp stone. The day it happened, I still went about my business and walked on the treadmill at the gym, but the pain only increased afterward. So I decided to take a break from the gym and rest this foot as much as I could. But it’s kind of difficult when you have a dog to walk and things to do…. But the pain has been with me (only when walking). One of my friends who gets this said I should try orthotics, but I have tried those in the past (years ago), and I cannot walk with those in my shoes without tears coming to my eyes (the pain from orthotics is worse than the pain that I’m trying to fix). I thought maybe I would try them again — maybe technology and new designs made them better since the days I tried them. As I was looking for orthotics on Amazon, I came upon the compression socks. These got high ratings on Amazon, and the comments were helpful, and they were priced right for a test. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money only to test something that would not work. I don’t have money to waste… But I’m in pain enough to try something. Here is what I know so far.* The socks fit well (I wear a 7.5 women's shoe and my feet are more narrow than wide). I don’t even know the socks are on my feet, and they stay put, and they are not bulky, so I can put socks over them and wear shoes. Love that!* I like that the socks look sporty — they don’t look like something that is used to treat an ailment. I think psychologically that helps because it’s not a reminder that I’m treating something that’s painful.* I put the socks on and pretty much right away I was not limping. The sharpness of the pain has definitely subsided (not completely but enough not to limp or wince). I’m not sure how these socks are doing all this, but they are. It’s almost magic that I can get this much pain relief with a sock that has a thin fabric on the heel where the pain is and tighter fabric around the rest of my foot.* I am hoping that just by alleviating the pain and letting me walk better, I will be able to get on with my life and this pain will go away for good. Also, if I’m not limping, I suspect that I will avoid any additional hip pain and back pain. I find that whenever pain crops up like this, it always takes about a month or two to go away — no matter where it is. Usually it’s my knees. And then one day, I’ll realize that I don’t have any pain. The body will heal itself somehow. I suspect that these socks may speed up the process. These socks seem to be helping so far. I’ll no doubt end up purchasing a second pair, so I’ll have a pair available when the other is in the wash.

Remarkable product! Amazing what the right compression can do!
I bought these a full year ago. I was suffering from plantar fasciitis pain in my right foot that affected a lot of my everyday activities.I even had to be super careful when transitioning indoors or out to make sure that I put the ball of my foot down first because if I put my heel down first and wasn't careful, that all too familiar shooting pain would go up my heel. It was excruciating. We take so much for granted as far as how our bodies function and having to stop before taking a step was not something I welcomed but after one too many of those knife-like pains, I realized I had to be careful about the steps I was taking and whether I was stepping on level ground or not. It was a pain! On top of the real pain I felt.I bought these after reading the good reviews in hopes of getting some relief. I bought a size Medium. I am female and wear a size 9 Wide, women's size. The medium was just perfect. It offered enough compression without any sort of limited blood flow, or cutting into my skin. I have to tell you - these things work! They are AMAZING.I had been suffering from my pain for over a year. I figured I was just stuck with it. I did special stretches, etc. and nothing alleviated the pain. After wearing these socks for a week the pain was mostly gone. Completely. I couldn't believe it. My left foot was OK so I wasn't adamant about wearing the sock on that foot. Sometimes I did just because I felt if I was falling apart maybe I could spare the left foot from going through this. Time is nasty on our bodies! After a week I eased back on how often I wore it. I mostly wore it during the day but not at night. Plantar fasciitis pain can be worse upon waking so that first week it was great to wear them all the time. After a couple more weeks I did not wear it every day. I probably wore it about 2-3 times/week for the next month. All together I may have worn them a total of 2 months. Since the pain was for the most part non-existent by then, I really didn't wear them at all at that point. And the plantar fasciitis has not returned. It's been 10 months! I'm still in awe.Fast forward to this past weekend. I did a lot of walking and physical activity due to a project I have going on. Once again, my poor right foot started hurting in a really painful way. Even when I wasn't stepping on it, it throbbed from the pain. But it wasn't that up-the-heel type plantar fasciitis pain. Instead it was on the sole of my foot and on the outside of the foot. I spent all weekend running around getting things done and by Monday morning, after a good night's rest, it was still there. Then I remembered my trusty socks. I put one on the foot that was hurt and went about my daily activities (my regular, lighter activities). I figured a little compression and support on that poor foot may actually help. It did! By Monday night the pain had subsided about 80%. I was amazed once again. Today is Tuesday, the following day, and I woke up even better (did not wear the sock to bed). I put it on again today to wear during my daily activities and it's almost end of workday and my pain is reduced by about 95%.I can't say enough good things about these amazing socks. It's fantastic to be able to find non-drug relief for things. Besides how well they work, they are durable, wash well and I find them really affordable for the relief they provide. I will keep these things around forever!

Ok but not great
They were comfortable and seemed to help a little bit when I first got them but after the second wash, they just stretch out and aren’t all that great. I wish they had more compression in the arch area and the ankle had a better band that would hold them up. Good concept but needs some improvements for quality and durability.
