12Pcs 7mil Blank Stencil Sheets, 12 x 12 inch Mylar Template Stencil Material for Make Your Own Stencil

Great value and just what I was looking for! I’ve been learning how to use my Cricut explore 2 and wanted a material for reusable stencils. These 7mil blanks are perfect thickness so they aren’t too flimsy. I had to figure out the right setting, but I just cut some small hearts for a test run and figured it out.And I’ll share so you don’t have to:- Go to material settings and create a new custom material, type in a name for your material, change your multi cut to 2x and pressure needs to be set to 320 give or take, then save that material and set it to that material. Then change pressure from ‘default’ to ‘more. And you’re good to go. Depending on the sharpness of your blade and such you may have to alter the pressure some.

This was quite a bit thicker than I expected. I am using a Silhouette Cameo 4 to cut my stencils, and have my ratchet blade set to 10, 2 passes, with pressure set all the way up and speed set all the way down. I just purchased a different brand with 6 mil thickness to see if I like it any better. In the meantime, I’m going to try 3 passes (is that overkill?) on this material, and if no better luck, perhaps I should try the craft blade. Would love to have other Cameo 4 users weigh in on your experience with this brands 7 mil thickness!!

This was inexpensive and well made. Picture is of cut-outs made with the SDX125 with pretty sharp intricate details and it pulled out crisply. It is being held up in front of black paper. They are sheer enough to see general shapes but hazy enough to mute minute details. They can be used for painting/finishes and I will be using them with my polymer clay arts. I plan on trying slightly thicker versions, these are sturdy and maintain shape well and resist kinking fairly well but they aren't the thickest.

I bought this to make stencils with my cameo, since they advertise it with a cricut. It’s way too thick. I did get it to cut through some areas but others were just scratched. I’ve tried several times, this last attempt I had a blade depth of 10 and 8 passes. This was the best out of the bunch. I’m going to go back to 5 mil and deal with the floppiness.

I was looking for Mylar to use with my Cricut Air2 to make stencils for scrapbooking. These Mylar sheets perfectly fit the bill. They make nice sturdy stencils and work great with my Cricut.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to use. Very sturdy. Crichton machine cuts it very well.

Great product works wonderfully with my Cricut. I've used it to make planner stencils. Works as expected.

This paper came in perfect condition. I would say that this paper has more of a “textured surface” but is great quality.

Nice thicker stencil. Took some playing around with but after watching some videos I got it figured out. For those using Cricut you need to customize your setting to mylar and the pressure from default to more. It will default to the fine tip blade and although it will cut, I found, I had a cleaner crisper cut with the deep cut blade. Will cut through in one pass.Delivery was quick and the product is great.

While they are too thick for my Cricut, I am able to cut stencils with it if I run them through 3-4 times. Bit of a pain for what I needed them for but they are very high quality, thick and came in great shape (not curved, dinged, etc).

One photo of the product shows “Clear Mylar Sheets.” I guess I should have paid more attention to the written description where it says “milky white.” The product photos are misleading. I will be returning as I need clear.

I tried to do a stencil on my Silhouette and it wouldn't cut through no matter how deep I tried to cut. Also, it's white, not clear which is what I thought it would be. Disappointed but I'll find a use for it.
