After reading through hundreds of reviews on Amazon for a compact, lightweight travel umbrella, I thought this was the one for me. Wrong! It was small enough, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to open. No matter how hard I pushed, I could not get the umbrella to click into an open position. It was also very hard to fold up again and get it back into its protective sleeve. It's going back and I guess I'm back to the drawing board, looking for another umbrella that actually works.

This umbrella is Soooooooo cute. I've gotten so many compliments on it. But I do not expect it to last long. The material it is made out of is very thin. There are no automatic opening with a button or anything, it's all manual open and close. I will enjoy it for as long as it lasts but probably wouldn't buy another one

After buying this umbrella, I've seen others that are the same price or less, and lighter weight. This was fine for my purposes, but it seemed pretty flimsy compared to others I've now seen in stores.

This umbrella is absolutely horrible! I am unable to easily open it (In fact, I can't open it at all.) When I fold it up, it does not even come close to fitting into the sleeve. I was going to order one for all the travelers in my family but decided to just order two. My sister took hers back to Connecticut and promptly called me to tell me that she can't open it either.Please notice that I am a frequent user of Amazon's services.Please [email protected]

This umbrella fits in my purse and glove compartment which I love. It also makes me smile when I open it because it's so pretty. I like that it came with a cover so it doesn't snag on anything when stored.

I bought this small umbrella for a backpacking trip and it worked perfect every time and loved how it fitted a small external pocket of my backpack!

Too difficult to open and close. I returned it.

I bought several umbrellas and wants to keep one in each of my daily bags. This umbrella is made with good quality and the size is more than perfect for my purse. Highly recommend it!
