Works Great. Front passenger has legroom again!
My 15 month old rides rear-facing in a Diono Radian RXT outboard behind the passenger seat in a '11 Honda Accord SE. When I initially installed the Radian the angle adjust was not available and so I had to do without. To make the seat fit in my 2011 Honda Accord I had to jack the passenger seat up very close to the dash and could not recline the passenger seat much at all. While the Radian did fit RF without the angle adjuster it made the ride for the passenger pretty uncomfortable. Now with the Diono Radian Angle Adjuster I have reclaimed a few inches of space and can move the passenger seat back and also recline the passenger seat a bit, making it much more comfortable for the passenger. The angle adjuster installs very easily and I am able to get as tight of an install of the Radian as I did without the angle adjuster. My daughter likes sitting more upright. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that the angle adjuster foam reeked pretty badly when it first arrived. I had to let it sit outside for a while to air out before I put it in my car. Not a big deal though and doesn't impact my 5-star rating at all. I highly recommend the angle adjuster for anyone who wishes to reclaim legroom for the driver or front passenger.

It works, its needed, but I hated having to buy this
I hate that I needed this thing, but it was completely necessary in order for my husband to ever drive my car. I have a 2017 Acura RDX. After 2 hours of trying to install our Radian RXT, we were only able to get it behind the drivers seat, using the latch connections, and that meant only myself, at 5'2" could fit into the seat, and was the sole driver of the car until we purchased this stupid thing. I hate that I had to purchase an extra accessory, that should be included with the cost of the car seat, but at $8, it wasn't too much of an investment. Honestly, its just a piece of foam, made of the same material as a pool noodle, in the shape of a phone book, maybe a little bit bigger. When I moved my car seat i noticed that it was severely digging into my brand new perforated leather seats but with this stupid thing, my nice new Acura leather is protected. It also allowed us the needed leg room for my husband to finally drive my brand new car (after I put 3000+ miles on it), as it does exactly as advertised, provides you with a solid 4" of incline. So yeah, as painful as it is to have to purchase a foam pool noodle material phone book, you need to and just do it. It protects your leather seats and gives you much needed leg room in the back seat.

Does exactly what it claims to do
First, I would have to agree that it's just a block of foam that you're paying for. In fact, it's several layers of closed cell polyethylene foam bonded together to make one block. I'll get the dimensions and details later if I remember. In any case, we recently purchased 2 Diono Radian RXT's for twin girls for a side-by-side, rear facing installation in the second row of our 2008 Acura MDX behind the driver's side and in the center. Without the angle adjuster, the Radian in the middle position requires the two front seat to be moved forward and more vertical to keep both Radian's from making contact with the back of the driver's seat. The position directly behind the driver's seat would also cause the driver's seat to be moved forward regardless of whether there is a Radian in the center, just not as much. While not unbearable with the seats moved forward and more vertical, it does get uncomfortable after about 30 minutes of driving and I'm only 5'8".Now with the angle adjuster, we've gained at least 4 inches! I didn't bother to measure exactly how much we've gained, but I can now move both front seats back a few inches and change the incline to a comfortable position with room to spare. The space gained will vary depending on the angle of your auto's car seats and the position of your front seats. Also by adding the adjuster, the height of the car seat also increases, so if rear visibility was an issue with the Radian's before, well, now you just lost about 2 more inches of visibility with the additional of the angle adusterThe new incline of the Radian's also doesn't seem to effect the comfort level of my girls. They fall asleep just as quick and they're heads aren't flopping forward. It just doesn't look as comfortable to me as it did when the adjuster wasn't installed.
