I recently purchased the TEEMI 2D QR Barcode Scanner, USB Wired Virtual COM Port Handheld Omnidirectional Scanning, and I am extremely impressed with its performance and versatility.First off, the setup was a breeze. Reads QR well (we're using for a student check-in/-out and teacher login/logout system to speed up the in/out process with a custom web-based interface, using a regular HTML input for accepting the scanned QR codes from the scanner as keyboard input). The light is always on (low intensity) when in the stand for auto read, but it's convenient to have that without having to scan a code to turn on/off the auto scan function. Stand isn't tight, but holds the scanner well enough.

This was an excellent value for the money spent on a handheld barcode scanner. The install for use with my PC was simple. I purchased the T26 model scanner for the device the ability to read barcode data from US divers licenses. Unfortunately my requirements for the raw data format from the scanner were not programmable using one of the barcodes in the device manual or on the support web site. One email to support specifying my format requirements and I received a response in less than 24 hours with the barcode to program the reader in the exact format I needed! Support for the device was fast and efficient.
