Great Lights, 95+ CRI! Adhesive is very sticky, holds well
These 95 CRI LEDs are the real deal!!!The adhesive is great! I have stuck and restuck on walls and glass and tables, still holds solidly each time (remember to clean your surface first or you’ll just stick to dust/whatever is on there)If you don’t like incandescents, this will be ok for you. I have done multiple home installs of LED’s and the high CRI on these is great! Great color and doesn’t make everything look gross. These lights served as a bedroom light (placed on edges or door frame) and bathroom light (placed on edges of mirror) they will also be serving as lighting in my dads camper van soon as he has ordered some himself.Good uses for these lights:replacing bedroom/livingroom/kitchen lights or in a vehicle or workspace.OR if you will be using them to light any displays or video/photo contexts. These LED’s will very accurately render the color of objects so I could see them working well in a display case too.Why CRI is important:CRI or Color Rendering Index is a very important factor to consider when purchasing LED’s for any use where you will be working/living with them for extended periods of time or need accurate color reproduction. Luckily some scientist found a way to quantify what makes a good light source and that was to graph the color spectrums emitted by a light source and compare the area covered to a “natural light source” thus making a scale of 0-100 with 100 being an exact recreation of all colors and 0 being no colors are correctly shown when lit with the source in question. *cough* fluorescents *cough*For context, an incandescent light has a continuous spectrum (no gaps in light frequencies) while a fluorescent light has a discrete spectrum (gaps between light frequencies)Unfortunately, good enough is enough for many companies and consumers, leading to that common feeling of headaches when around fluorescents or low CRI LEDs what you are experiencing then is displayed In the image above, instead of a group of frequencies you are only seeing a group of frequencies spaced out along the expected spectrum. Colors look less vibrant and edible things are a lot less edible looking. This is because there are actually less colors in the light you are seeing. If it were graphed it would have a lot of spikes that basically cover the whole spectrum but actually miss a lot of area in between. For those of you who know calculus, higher CRI means more light spectrums which which means more area under the curve. The more area under the curve the better stuff will look and the more “natural” it will seem.Hope this is helpful! credit to Wikipedia for science info and superbrightlights .com for the image

completely invisible, very bright
to illuminate the perimeter of my house for security cameras, this tape worked perfectly. I ran it along the inside of the eaves, and the LEDs are very bright, easily illuminating the ground and wall of the house clearly, with no dark areas. Just make sure your cameras are 940nm. The LEDs give off absolutely no visible light whatsoever, you have to touch them to determine if they are on or not.

Perfectly Bright and shiny!
I love the fact that while the LEDs are on, the visible red light glow is very minimal but the infrared light seen through my modified GoPro knockoff cam shows them as being bright and lights up the room in a short of purplish color. It serves my needs perfectly! Thanks!

Way shorter then claimed.
Complete and utter ripoff. They say 6.5 ft the reel I got looked way small upon measuring it came out at 5ft or 1.5ft short. Opening a dispute with Amazon.Update: The manufacturer ended up sending out the missing 1.5ft worth of LEDs. But literally just that exact amount on a spool. My review stays low because of the misadvertisment in the first place. The LEDs themselves seem to work decently okay though in terms of at least lighting up and being IR.

It works and has great illumination.
Great product. Great illumination. Invisible to the eyes and regular cameras. You need night vision to see it.

850 nm is not visible to the human eye
The output is dim and I had to use my phones camera to see if the lights work. "They did" but not intense enough to achieve anything close to what we were looking for.

made an indoor light for my chronograph
Use it in a DIY project to provide indoor lighting for my chronograph since I only use it indoor. It is much less expensive making it myself. It works great for the project. There's left over. As a matter of fact, I could make one or two more indoor lights.

Did not work at all. Never lit up.
Item was shipped in a flimsy box and bubble wrapping. It didn't appear damaged but did not work. Also did not include instructions. But I reviewed the limited overview in the ad and I've I wired a whole house so I know what I'm doing with respect to electricity. This strip simply didn't work. Expensive too. I'm sending the strip back.
