Love this series and how silly and playful it can beI enjoyed the daydreams of the characters part and the scene with the cats was funny

The new guy. Meh. Not really digging him. Comes off as to brusque. Everyone thinks he's a hoodlum, well because he looks & dresses like one! Not sure he's really a good fit for the group. Also, Komi & Tadano are both starting to feel butterflies! Is it going to happen? Is the hookup we all want going to happen? Art, very good. Dialogue, very good. Characters, mostly likeable, all believable, and some relatable. And in Komi's & Najimi's cases, totally adorable. Hey, I don't care if she used to be a he. Najimi is awesome. Everyone needs a friend like her. Glad to see some LGTBQ+ representation.

Will be ordering the rest of collection. Daughter enjoys them and stays off phone reading more.

I just got it and I’m surprised it came in great condition, it’s usually one of the corners being bent or something, but this book looks like it was made yesterday. Can’t wait to read this lol.

As with the previous volume, the author spins a humorous and sensitive look at social anxiety. Komi's issues are treated with respect instead of being made fun of. Eagerly looking forward to the next volume!

Volume 6 of Komi Can't Communicate continues the everyday adventures of the socially inept high school student Shoko Komi and her friends on their quest to make Komi 100 friends. This volume contains chapters 73 through 85 of the series.As with the previous volumes in this series, this volume continues the story of Komi and her experiences in life trying to break out of her shell and make more friends. She and her friends continue going through the life of high school students and everyday experiences. Some of things she does in this volume include visiting a karaoke, shopping for new clothes with her father, and visiting a cat cafe.This volume continues with the top notch artwork that has been a staple of this series so far. There are plenty of fun moments and expressive characters in this volume.Unlike the previous volumes, the writing was a little bit hit-and-miss in this volume in my opinion. To be sure, there is plenty to enjoy here such as the introduction of a new character, Mokoto Katai, who suffers from his own communication difficulties and the two "fantasies" chapters that offer many humorous moments for the minor characters. In contrast, I found the chapters on the karaoke visit and the cat cafe to be surprisingly weak and the humor just did not work well. The overall story in this volume barely progressed as well. Still, I would say the weak parts are outweighed by the good parts.If you enjoyed the series so far, you will likely enjoy this volume, too.

i loved watching the anime so I wanted to read the manga as well. the manga is just as good as the anime so i would definitely recommend it.
