Excellent Laptop For What I Needed
I did a bit of intense market research before settling on buying this product. At least 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage (everywhere else including walmart.com was more expensive for less features and older models). This laptop checked off all the boxes! I've always wanted an X1 Carbon (that red joystick in the middle is classic!) and loved how it's so light. Hard to imagine it's such a serious machine but it 100% is. I had a Macbook Air from 2018 and it is heavier than this one because it's made of metal. Anyways, I decided to pull the trigger and bought it from Lapro. No regrets buying from this vendor!

Great laptop
I purchased this unit for my Wife for Christmas. She had one at her previous job and loved it so much, she really wanted to have one for herself. It's thin, light, and has great screen resolution. This renewed unit came well packaged in bubble wrap, and was very clean. Windows 10 booted to typical OOBE which was nice. The keyboard by the way is the great "island style" that has been used on the other T-series and X-series laptops. If you have never tried a Thinkpad keyboard, you are missing out!

Sent a Broken Laptop
I got this laptop and it worked... at first. The issue when it came to the charging. It just. Didn’t. I was sent a laptop with a busted charging port. After 2 days, the screen stopped working too and the laptop did not turn on. Don’t buy this product.

Snappy, Sleek, and Sweet
I'm a college student and this laptop was 100% the best pick for me. It is very responsive and it always feels so fast with everything I do. The keyboard feels great, the size of the screen is big enough without being clunky, and the graphic quality is amazing. It is lightweight, so it is very convenient to carry around, but it does not feel fragile in the slightest. LAPRO was really quick with the delivery, too. Thanks!

Condition not great
I've purchased a number of renewed laptops and the machines have been generally in excellent condition. I am writing this review on a different machine that I ordered last year as refurbished and was almost (but not quite) indistinguishable from new when it arrived. This one, however, has screen damage. There are no dead pixels, but there are 6 "blotches" on the screen where the pixels show as a faint magenta instead of black. When I've seen damage like this, it's generally been the result of some kind of impact to the back of the screen when the machine was closed. The machine will function for my purpose, and I'm not interested in going through the exercise of sending it back for replacement (especially with the delays do to the effects of shelter-in-place), but I am pretty disappointed that this machine would be sold as "renewed" with no indication of this kind of damage. On Edit: After using the laptop for a day, I decided that I really can't live with the screen damage. I exchanged messages with the vendor and they are making it right by accepting a return for refund. We agree that the damage very likely occurred in shipping, based on the nature of the problem and the condition of the box it was shipped in. I am still disappointed that this didn't work out, but I have no issues with the vendor.

Great Deal
I purchased one of these notebooks last week and am very happy with the one I received. Cosmetic grade is A-. There are a couple of scratch marks on the top cover as well as underneath, but these are to be expected with prior use. There are YouTube videos which show how to remove scratches on the Thinkpad casing by using a Mr. Clean magic eraser. The particular unit I received actually has an i7 processor as well as a 2560x1440 UHD display. I did not have any dead pixel issues unlike another reviewer. The unit could have been cleaned better prior to shipping (there were some keyboard crumbs and the TrackPoint head was dirty) but otherwise I am satisfied with the money I paid and the unit I received. For reference, the particular seller I purchased from was VertexPC. They offer a 30-day return policy with no restocking fee. However, unlike other sellers I have come across, they only provide the 90-day Amazon Renewed warranty as opposed to a 1-year seller-backed warranty. If this is a deal-breaker, the Asurion extended warranty can be purchased up to 30 days post-purchase.
