First and foremost there are NO DISLIKES about this product ... I only have praise for how really well it works. I wrote the company and told them how much I like the product and had a few POSITIVE suggestions (there was nothing about the product I did not like but note positive suggestions below) and have been impressed with its performance each time I use it to peel something else. I purchased this product to peel WATERMELON to make pickles which was a boyhood favorite of mine. Talk about a TOUGH TEST for any peeler. I have to say and be honest, I had to be a bit aggressive and not be afraid to put some pressure on the blade to start each swipe, (I did use the single blade) however, having said that, the tool cut through the Mellon skin perfectly and quickly ... it was amazing to me how well it worked (as I said, i was skeptical). What would take my mother hours of painstaking labor to peel a whole watermelon, took me less than a half hour from start to finish to do the same ... AND IT WAS EASY AND FRANKLY IT WAS FUN TO DO! Before putting it away, I did try the other two blades on carrots and WOW ... I was so impressed again with the speed and ease to peel most of the carrots first and then with the remaining carrots I tried the third blade to Julienne some carrots for a salad and it worked great for that job too. I tested the peeler on apples and AGAIN the unit performed perfectly AND QUICKLY with no effort at all. This is a great product and performs as advertised. and I recommend it wholeheartedly.As for suggestions to the company:Provide packaged blades to sell separately ... I suggested three in a pack. You might ask why? I build things and use tools all the time and I know that no matter how good or high quality a tool is, if it cuts (like a drill bit or a saw blade) IT WILL EVENTUALLY GET DULL AND NEED SHARPENING OR REPLACING ... it is inevitable even if it is a diamond tipped tool! There is nothing more frustrating than to have a project that you need to complete quickly and "fight" getting the job done with a dull blade. So I have suggested why not offer customers with a reasonably priced package set of whatever blades (not an assortment) they need to be able to have on hand when the blade eventually gets dull ... this could prevent any POSSIBLE complaints that MIGHT come about after frequent use of the product (I know I will be using it a lot and would like it to perform in the future as well as it does now).The second suggestion deals with the battery (replaceable) operated option type of unit I purchased. I planned to use my own rechargeable batteries in the tool (I hate electric "built in" battery operated things that when the battery fails it is no longer cost effective to repair thus most people discard the old item and buy another ... that's wasteful and not Eco friendly and bad for our environment). The problem is that my rechargeable batteries (and have several different brands) would not fit in the battery compartment even after I tried several brands. Let me be very clear ... standard, regular (non chargeable) batteries fit fine and that is what i am using. When I contacted the company to get their rechargeable battery deal they did not have any available to sell. OK, I admit this is a minor point for most and the high quality batteries (non rechargeable) that I have been using still are working fine ... and I have no idea how long they will last ... but I hate throwing stuff away and that is why I would like to use rechargeable batteries in this tool. Perhaps the manufacturer could retool the mold to allow just a tiny bit more room in the battery compartment to accommodate the use of standard consumer branded rechargeable batteries to fit in the battery compartment.BOTTOM LINE: This is a great tool that I hope will last a long time because I am absolutely spoiled after having used it .... I am a fan and suggest you try it out yourself sooner than later ... it will make your peeling jobs easier, faster, and do so with little effort!

It is a tool with good grip but I am particularly afraid of using it on a vegetable until the end, you must have the vegetable or vegetable in hand. for example, I made zuccini spaghetti and I couldn't use the vegetable until the end because I'm afraid of cutting myself. It would be the only negative of the product, I thought about buying another for my mother but I'm afraid that she will cut

I purchased this product for my 93-year-old mother. The product is PERFECT for her and her arthritic hands. The product is east to use, easy to clean, and works flawlessly! I would highly recommend this product.

I installed batteries and made sure it worked, and put it in the drawer. Less than 2 weeks later I used it to peel cucumbers. After the first it stopped working. I installed 2 different sets of batteries and NOTHING. I set it on the table finished cooking and sat down to eat. My hubby touched the peeler and it was scorching HOT. So, hot I believe it could have caught fire. $23 for a peeler that works 1 minute. IF YOU HAVE THIS AND IT STOPS WORKING TAKE THE BATTERIES OUT.

Other electric peelers have the cutting blade vertical, vibrating up and down to cut the fruit skin. So it is quite fast.This peeler has the cutting blade horizontal, and it vibrates left to right to cut the fruit skin. So when you cut the apple from top to bottom, you won't be able to cut it fast. This model is easier to clean than other models.

I would dread the thought of peeling potatoes until I got this handy gadget! The blades are very sharp and you can peel up or down whichever is most comfortable. The arthritis in my left thumb makes it difficult to hold the potato, but this peeler works so well that there's no need to hold it so tightly. I put the blade in silverware bin of the dishwasher and simply wipe down the peeler. I love it!

This peeler is actually fun to use. I tried it on a potato and I wanted to peel more so I continued to cut the potato in thin slices (which is handy if you want your potatoes to cook in a hurry). I haven't tried it on anything else yet.I am going to purchase one for my sister and daughter.
