I purchase this battery because my original battery showed internal failures. Had 2 issues: 1) Label stated 5150 mAh, and my computer showed 3160 mAh. Tested with same condition with my old (failing) battery that still had 4900 mAh. My old battery lasted longer. Tested with everything off and this battery still had screen and sleep settings still on, but lasted short than my original battery with everything off and screen and sleep off so my screen never turned off or went to sleep. 2) Day three, after charging for about 5 hours, battery level was under 20%. I have 2 same charges and both did not work. Day 4, battery charged with 1st charger, did not try with 2nd charger. Customer Service tried helping, but did not work.

received 2 batteries but evidently for whatever reason they did not work for my HP Envy Laptop .. good fit and easy install..however, left charging overnight and would only 'power' up enough to light up 'power' button..screen or laptop never fired up ??? both times as soon as i put my old weak original battery, laptop fired up immediately.. not sure why neither worked for me ???

The battery was a disappointment, after installing battery in my HP laptop it would not boot correctly. The laptop turned on but no video displayed on the screen. Even when I connected the. Power supply the computer still no video appeared, only after I disconnected the battery and with power supply connected would computer boot correctly.

It fit perfect, But Did not work at all when installed. I was told it was probably the motherboard that is messed up.

Ordered one for my self and one for my wife's L702x laptop.Both are a great fit, good construction and holding a charge similar to the original batteries (approx 5hr fully charged).They also shipped quick and packaging was good.

geek squad installed battery and stated that something is not right with it, computer does not turn on with it. did diagnostic which says battery is good but needs calibration. ran diag. 3 times but did not resolve the issue. I was advised by the agent to contact HP. my laptop is a 2 year old HP Envy

I got the same item as described with 56% charge and so far it has been working fine, it is fully compatible with my HP Envy m7 Notebook PC
