Works great, I feel the bikes are secure
Works great, I feel the bikes are secure. For the price , it holds the bikes securely. Have a mans bike and a ladies and they ride very securely and are easy to put in the rack.

Instructions are terrible! It's not rocket science
Instructions are terrible! It's not rocket science, but there are things that some instructions would have helped with. I feel like I have assembled, dismantled and re-assembled the entire project. I would choose another product that has decent instructions. I even had to go to the website to get a clear picture of the finished product.

Cheap
worked great until the pole the holds the bike broke at the welds and played my bike over on the freeway destroying my bike. Granted it was a heavy bike not some little carbon fiber thing but it destroyed it and u stopped immediately

Quick and Simple review:PRO:stable when installed,very sturdyadjustable to many sizes/styles of bikesfar enough away from hatch that I can open it (when there are no bikes on the rack, of course)CON:TOTALLY disassembled when shipped; this caught me by surprisewhile it is able to fit a variety of bike sizes, adjusting the side holders is VERY DIFFICULT; in future versions, it would be better to use quick-release holders for fast on-the-fly adjustments

sturdy rack
apon reciept of this rack i was impressed with its weight.minimal assembaly with a rachet set and the purchase of a good hitch pin and my wife and i were hauling our mnt. bikes to the trail. my only negative is the straps are poorly sewn together hook and loop velcro that have lasted ten or so uses but im looking into some of the soft cushion straps available on the amazon site. all in all a pretty good product.

This review is solely about assembly. Designed well for easy assembly. It took me twenty minutes to put this together from opening of the box to finish. Seems sturdy. Just make sure the fasteners are snug and tight. I will write up another review after it's first use.

Very functional and easy to use. Pleased overall! Description in ad is very accurate. And it is priced appropriately compared to other carriers.
