5 years after buying my 1953 (non renovated) house I finally found something to put along the outer edge of the tub! My tub has an angle to the exterior. So where the laminate floor meets the tub is problematic. Caulk attracts dirt and scrapes off after time, but this stuff you can just wipe down. Easy to put on (I used a hairdryer as I pulled off the backing), sturdy and thick enough to hide flaws. Looks professional! I’ll be buying a ton more. It is over 2 inches wide so this particular version only has a couple of applications, but I could imagine using a more narrow strip in a few places like around my sink.

Seems to be doing the job so far. I installed it at the base of a toilet that had a wider than usual gap between it and the tile floor and it's doing the job much better than the caulk I was using. Pretty easy to install, though at times the paper backing tore while I was trying to remove. Not sure how it's going to hold up over the long term--here's hoping.

I bought this to go around the edges of my tub. First of all, it IS NOT easy to install. It doesn't seem to want to bend like it's supposed to. Secondly, it doesn't stick worth a darn. I made sure everything was clean and dry before I applied it and even used a hair dryer to warm it up because I read on here that it would help it stick better but it came off after a few days.

Easy to install and it had great adhesion. I tried a small piece before placing it on the whole edge of my shower and the glue on the back basically helped me clean off everything I had missed scrubbing off. It looks much cleaner than using a chalking gun to seal the edge. I could never get those to look like how the professionals do it. This chaulk strip did the trick, for a super simple easy fix on preventing water from leaking out from the shower.

I got this because basic caulk was just not holding up as well, and neither did it look “clean”. I wanted something that was mess free and easy to apply, but most importantly, looked good. This product met everything I was looking for and I would order again.

This is a good temporary fix for unslightly caulking. My apartment building is old, and upon move in the shower's edges were already stained black from mildew. The caulking was also poorly done, so it is bumpy and uneven. I tried everything to remove the stains with minimal success. These strips make my tub look much cleaner, and will hopefully prevent further mildew buildup.The only downside is that it is very difficult to get the strips perfectly straight along the tub wall, especially if the caulk is uneven like in my shower. It bothers me a bit that the strips are slightly crooked, but it still looks much better.
